Vitesse Arnhem manager Peter Bosz has ruled out a loan move for Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The 19 years old has highly impressed at Chelsea despite making only 2 or 3 appearances but Vitesse manager Peter Bosz insisted it is very unlikely that Jose Mourinho will let him go as he needs him in his squad. He told Telegraaf:

“Chelsea know what they do for us and they are satisfied with the development that the boys have made with us. We know what we want, but it is also dependent on what happens at Chelsea. For example, we wanted to bring Ruben Loftus-Cheek here, but he is playing more at Chelsea now so a loan is impossible.”

Cuadrado when he joined Chelsea...only seven months ago!

The Italian giants were hoping to land a deal for Mohammed Salah who has enjoyed a decent season on loan at Fiorentina but it looks like they have now turned their attention to Juan Cuadrado.

The Columbian said he was looking to leave the club after struggling to make an impact within the team. Reports claim Inter will make an attempt to sign him on loan from Chelsea with a mandatory option to buy him next summer.

Douglas Costa
Douglas Costa has been a key man for Shaktar this season

Chelsea have shown interest for Douglas Costa in the past few months. The Brazilian was linked to a move to Stamford Bridge before Jose Mourinho deciced to pay £27M for Cuadrado instead.

Chelsea is no longer the only club interested as Bayern Munich have joined the race to sign him. Douglas Costa has always dreamt of playing for Chelsea, however, he wouldn’t turn down the opportunity to work under Pep Guardiola, he was quoting telling Sport Bild:

“Discussions have taken place between my club and Bayern, but so far I know nothing more than the interest of FC Bayern.

“I have been focused on the Copa America. After my time here [in Chile], I’ll talk to my agent. Who would not like to play at Bayern?”

Real Madrid are hoping to convince Jose Mourinho to return as manager at the Santiago Bernabeu and will let go of all the players that opposed him during his last spell in order to do so, according to the Daily Express.

The Express is reporting today that the proposed sale of Sergio Ramos to Manchester United is part of a wider plan to convince the Chelsea manger to reclaim his former position which came to an end in 2013 after three unhappy seasons as manager of the Spanish giants in which he won just a La Liga and Spanish Cup.

The Portuguese returned to Chelsea after parting ways with Real Madrid and has since stated his desire to stay at Stamford Bridge for many years, ending his career pattern of moving between clubs and countries, albeit successfully. Real replaced Mourinho with former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti, and the Italian did what Mourinho couldn’t- winning the Champions League back in what was a historic tenth title for the club in his first season. His second was less successful and he was sacked after failing to either win La Liga or retain the Champions League to be replaced by Rafael Benitez, another former Chelsea boss.

Benitez is the latest manager to be put in charge of a club that has taken to changing its manager on a regular basis, often backing the players in the annual disputes that have ultimately undermined the club’s season.

The belief in the Real Madrid hierarchy, according to the Express, is that they made a mistake in letting Mourinho leave and should have supported him as the team’s biggest players rebelled against him. The paper is reporting that Sergio Ramos may not be the first to leave, and that Real are willing Iker Casillas, Pepe and even Cristiano Ronaldo leave in order to convince Mourinho that he can build the team back up afresh. It is not a new policy and recent sales of Mesut Ozil, Gonzalo Higuain and Angel di Maria have all, reportedly, been part of this long term plan.

There is no suggestion that Mourinho is unhappy at Chelsea, or that he has any desire to return to Real Madrid regardless of who the club buys or sells. ChelseaNews24 reported earlier this month that the club will offer him a two-year extension to his deal which is due to run out in 2017.

According to SkySport Italia, Chelsea are believed to be interested in Baba Rahman.

The 20 years old plays as a full back at the Bundesliga side FC Augsburg and has made 31 appearances in total, and helped them finish fifth in the table. Chelsea are ready to make an offer of £15M but the task seems very difficult as Juventus are also interested.

Rahman’s agent has travelled to London today, to hold talks with Chelsea’s hierarchy, however Chelsea would need to upgrade their offer as FC Augsburg are not looking to get rid of their full back for less than £20M.

Drogba wont’ be returning to Marseille because they have no project.

Didier Drogba played for one season in Marseille before joining Chelsea in 2004. He has been announced for a return to his former club but the the 2012 Champions League winner denied all the transfers rumours and said:

“It’s not a question of money. I like to have a project. And Marseille, which I know well, does not have a project. They have sold their best players, whom they let go till the end of their contracts. I’m talking about Andre Ayew and Andre Pierre Gignac … and they’ll lose more.”

Drobga, aged 37 intends to play at least two more years at the highest level and wants to join a club with ambitions of winning trophies, he added:

“I don’t want to go to Marseille to just play. If I go somewhere, it’s to win, and I want to win. The question has been coming up for 10 years.

“There have been times when I could have returned, but the timing wasn’t right. And each time my name comes up when it’s time to renew season tickets. I don’t want people to use me for financial purposes.”

We all know, Manuel Pelligrini and Jose Mourinho aren’t fan of each other. This is probably the reason why Manuel Pelligrini decided to take a swipe at Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea won the Premier League this season, with an eight points lead over second placed Manchester City. So, Pelligrini said:

“When he wins, Mourinho wants to take credit for everything. I don’t do that myself because when I won the Premier League, I didn’t say a word.”

However, Pelligrini insisted he has a lot of respect for Jose Mourinho despite not being his friend and added:

“I don’t have any problem with him, he’s not my enemy and there isn’t any conflict with him but I differ from Mourinho on all fronts. I have no interest in analysing him as a person.”

Gerrard is moving to America in the summer after a prolific Premier League spell

Steven Gerrard has left Liverpool where he spent 17 years of his life and dedicated his career to the club, and is now heading to the US to play in the Major Soccer League.

However, the ex captain has enjoyed the best but also the worst moments of his career and one of them is the slip against Chelsea last year. He admitted he still thinks about it on a daily basis. Speaking to Rio Ferdinand on BT Sport 1, he said:

“Well I think that game against Chelsea with the slip and I think our tactical approach was probably inexperienced for the whole game. Going out to try and blow Chelsea away.”

Steven Gerrard thinks they were having too much confidence at the time and it cost them the Premier League title that season, he added:

“A lot of teams we played prior to that game, we’re blowing them away comfortably. Suarez and Sturridge were on fire. Raheem Sterling was coming in. I was in good form myself and we got to the Man City game and it was a little bit… we were in front controlling it, then we were on the back foot and we managed to get over the line.

“We put that much into the game the initial huddle after the game was just sheer emotion. Also being in a position where we felt like it was ours and we were playing that well, I sort of just felt like it was the right time to have a huddle and just remind the players the team that we’ve got a lot of hard work to do. So the atmosphere was obviously great at that time.”

We have been hearing this potential transfer over the last month at least four times, although it has yet to be confirmed if it will go ahead.

Chelsea are interested in bringing Alex Oxlade Chamberlain in exchange for Petr Cech. The goalkeeper is likely to move to the Emirates but Jose Mourinho wouldn’t sell him without nothing in return so he wants to sign Oxlade Chamberlain but the 21 years old is still in Wenger’s plan for next season so the task sounds very difficult for both sides.

Chelsea struggled to keep consistency throughout all the season but despite being on the brink of being sacked in more than an occasion Antonio...
