Filipe Luis has made 24 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions this season

It has been reported that Filipe Luis would go back to Atletico after a disappointing season.

The Brazilian signed for Chelsea last summer, but struggled to find a regular place, battling out with his teammate Azpilicueta.

The Spanish source, Marca reports that los Blancos are interested to bring him to Madrid, but Filipe Luis told his agent that the move is a non starter. Filipe Luis would only go back to Spain to be reunited with Simeone, otherwise he would stay at Chelsea

However there are only two options available for the Brazilian: either go to Real Madrid or stay at Chelsea so it is very likely that we will see him again as a Blues next season..

Having made a lot of appearances and scored, 19 goals, it wouldn’t be a surprised to see him on top flight team next season.

Napoli striker, Gonzalo Higuain could be a Stamford Bridge bound

The Argentinian, it is believed, wants to leave Italy. Arsenal and Juventus have been long admirers of the striker but he could head instead to West London

Jose Mourinho is prepared to stump up 30M for Higuain, whom he managed three seasons at Real Madrid, so should the opportunity come, the Argentinian could team up with his former manager.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has reiterated his belief that Arsenal will challenge Chelsea for the Premiership title next season, and claimed that none of the Gunners best players will be leaving this summer.

Ramsey is of the opinion that a poor start to last season cost Arsene Wenger’s side, as well as losing their most effective players – Robin van Persie, Samir Nasri and most notably currently Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas – whilst the debt for the Emirates Stadium was paid off.

However, the latter appears to have been rectified recently and Arsenal have been instead improving their team, with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez arriving in the past two years.

With that in mind, Ramsey now thinks Arsenal can progress to glory beyond winning the FA Cup, which they have now won twice in a row:

“Every club brings in new faces and a few leave.

“Even with this group of players now I believe if everyone was fit in the season we would have a great opportunity of competing for the Premier League,” Ramsey said.

“This team has come on a lot over the last few years and if we can get off to a good start next season we will challenge.

“The club is in a good place where they can afford not to let players go, we’re building on this team rather than seeing players leaving.

“It is a nice feeling and means that the group can stick together. The understanding is there already, so it can only get stronger.”

Arsenal finished third in the Premiership last season, 12 points behind Chelsea.

David Seaman urged Arsenal to sign Petr Cech as the Gunners’ first-choice goalkeeper this summer, as the Czech Republic international is expected to leave Chelsea in the summer.

Among others, Manchester United are thought to be keeping tabs on Cech’s situation at Stamford Bridge as David De Gea is continuously linked with a move away from Old Trafford to join Real Madrid. But Arsenal are also thought to be monitoring him – Wenger thinks Ospina and Szczesny are not at his level.

And now also an Arsenal legend such as David Seaman feels that Cech would walk in as the No1 between the posts at most Premier League clubs. He told Metro: “A lot of rumours that Petr Cech has become available but if De Gea leaves Manchester United then they will be in for him, he’ll be in high demand. Will Chelsea even let him leave to a rival?”

He added: “I think Cech in any squad will make them better, I don’t want to put a downer on Ospina or Szczesny, but Cech is a quality goalkeeper and I don’t think he’ll go to any club where he could be considered a No2. Wherever he goes he’s going to be a No1.”

Chelsea’s iconic figure, Frank Lampard has left the door open for a possible return to Chelsea one day

He played his last game in the Premier League with Manchester City as he prepares to go on a different adventure in the US. Asked whether or not he would like to return to his former club one day, he said:

“I’m not someone who says they will miss the dressing-room banter. That’s not really me. I have a varied life and could get by without football if that’s the way it pans out. I’ll always keep my season ticket at Chelsea though and if they want me back in any capacity…”

There has been speculation in the past few weeks that the Frenchman Antoine Griezmann would be joining the Blues

However Jose Mourinho was quick to stop the rumours spreading around and said:

“He is not one that interests us at this point in time. He is a great striker but is not within our objectives to strengthen the squad for next season. We’re not interested.”

Yarmolenko has his sights set on a European move after becoming champions with his team Dynamo Kiev.

He vowed to stay in Kiev until they lifted their first trophy since 2008-2009 but he has been strongly linked to a move to Chelsea, Liverpool or Tottenham

Asked whether or not it is a good time for him to leave, he said:

“I think that right now is the perfect time to change clubs. I promised that until we become champions, I was not going anywhere. I kept my promise, we became champions.

Yarmolenko has already spoken with the president of the club, he added:

“The president knows that I want to leave, I have repeatedly spoken about this. I want to grow. It is hard, it is unclear where I will play next. There have been suggestions from good teams.”

“I feel the strength and confidence to be able to play in one of the top championships. If I want to play enough in Europe, now is the time to move.”

Cech left Chelsea last summer after eleven years and many trohpies

Instead of being harassed by questions regarding the demolition of  Aston Villa in the FA Cup final, Arsene Wenger was asked about the potential signing he would make this summer and he said:

““People forget that for years we had to sell our best players, people forget that. It was a very difficult period for us.That is the reality. Since we start to buy again we improve. “People start talking about stratospheric numbers. We will not be in that market for financial reasons.

“I have not made a clear decision of what I will do, but don’t rule anything out or tell you how much we spend.

However when asked about Petr Cech, his ton completely changed and he added:

“If you look at the stats, Ospina is the best goalkeeper in the league. You might not share that opinion, but in the mathematics he is.

“I don’t know what is happening with Petr Cech, we have just won the cup and so I can’t come out and say anything straight after. You will see what we will do by the end of the transfer window”
