A real humiliation for Chelsea tonight, with a heavy defeat against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.

In fact, the Cherries won 3-0 with goals by Wilson, Stanislas and former Chelsea defender and academy player Nathan Ake, all scored in the space of fifteen minutes in the beginning of the first half.

A deserved and vital win for Bournemouth, who take their unbeaten Premier League run to six games.

After a goalless first half, Callum Wilson (51′) swept home the opener before Junior Stanislas (64′) poked home the second.

Three minutes later, former Chelsea defender Nathan Ake (67′) sealed the victory for the Cherries.

A nightmare night for Antonio Conte’s side, who also lost Andreas Christensen for a hamstring injury at 28′: the Danish defender was replaced by Antonio Rudiger.

Nathan Ake will meet again his former teammates as Chelsea face Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium today. The Dutchman told Standard Sport: “I have no regrets, no way. I am still 100 per cent happy with my decision.

Ake joined Chelsea at the age of 16, spending 6 years at Stamford Bridge with loan spells at Reading, Watford and Bournemouth. And the Cherries are currently struggling with 7 points, sitting 19th in the league table.

“It is still early in the season. – Ake insists – We didn’t start the season well, but the quality of our football is coming back, we are scoring good goals. The defending is getting better too. It’s just about picking up more points and we will do that with the quality we have in the squad.”

New Bournemouth signing Nathan Ake was full of praise following the reunion with his former teammates.

The defensive midfielder, who spent last season on loan with the Cherries until January, told the club’s official website: “I had a great time here last season so I’m really happy to be back,”

“It’s an exciting challenge. Chelsea is a great club and I learned so much there but this is a new step and the right place for me to develop even more.

Then Ake added: “The fans haven’t seen the best of me yet. I always set the bar high so I know there is a lot of things I still have to work on. With the help of the manager here I know I can keep improving and become a better player.”

Bournemouth are still confident they can land Chelsea defender Nathan Ake this summer, according to SkySports.

The 22-year-old’s ownership, who spent last campaign on loan with the Cherries, is currently esteemed around £20m.

Bournemouth have already signed goalkeeper Asmir Begovic from Chelsea a few weeks ago.

Chelsea defensive midfielder Nathan Ake made his first senior appearance for Netherland National Team on Wednesday after being a regular in the Dutch Under-21 squad.

Quincy Promes and Tottenham star Vincent Janssen both scored in their 2-1 win over Morocco in a friendly game. Former Chelsea Academy Mbark Boussoufa also scored for the hosts.

The 22-year-old was recalled by Chelsea in January 2017, making his first appearance in the 4–0 FA Cup fourth round victory over Brentford. Then he replaced David Luiz in the starting lineup in the 4–2 semifinal win against rivals Tottenham.

Nathan Ake is uncertain about his future: the Dutch defender was called back from his loan to Bournemouth last January, but he has collected only three appearances with Chelsea first team ever since.

Now that the season is over, Ake wants to understand if there will be more playing time in Antonio Conte‘s mind for him for the next campaign.

Asked by his future by The Guardian, he replied:

“I know what you mean, because when I was 17, 18, 19, you are happy you are going to be involved, or be on the bench, or get some minutes.

“But I think at my age now, you want to play a little bit more, also because I had a taste of it.

“Of course you also know this is a big club, so there will be big players and it’s not easy to come into the team.

“I just need to see what is going to happen with Michael [Emenalo, the technical director] or the manager. We have to talk and see what is best.”

Ake is open to another loan move after admitting that “I haven’t deleted myself” from the WhatsApp group which was created for all 38 of the players who departed Chelsea on a temporary basis last summer.

“The main thing for me is to play games. Whether it is here, whether it is somewhere else, I don’t know yet.

“I need to see what Michael thinks. That’s what we need to discuss and see where we go from there.'”

John Terry has not played a lot this season and he will leave Chelsea this summer, but his influence in the club is still very strong.

Defender Nathan Ake, for example, admits he has learned a lot from the Blues legend.

“He’s always been there, helping and talking, since I was 17 and I first came into the team under Rafael Benitez,’ – Ake told Chelsea official website – “He’s always been there for me, on and off the pitch. He tries to help, that’s just the way he is. He plays his own game but also looks out for others as well, so it was really nice to play with him. From him I have learned positioning and also just his character, the way he trains every day is magnificent. He makes sure you always give 100 per cent, even if you are a little bit tired. He keeps going and you see the way he puts tackles in and think you need to do that as well, that’s the type of character he is. He’s such a big legend at the club and he will be a really big miss”.

Chelsea defender Nathan Ake spoke after away win at Goodison Park, when the Dutchman came off the bench in the 82nd minute to replace David Luiz.

“It was a bit different but I see David train and play, so I know what the role is and I just tried to fit in, – Ake told Chelsea’s official website – I’m happy. I played the FA Cup game and came on in an intense match against Everton, which shows the trust from the manager, so I appreciate it”.

Ake played a key role in FA Cup Semifinal against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium as the former Bournemouth defensive midfielder played in the defensive third alongside David Luiz and Azpilicueta following Cahill’s gastroenteritis suffered ahead of the clash.

“This is what you play football for, the FA Cup was really big and a good platform for me to test myself on – he added – Everton was a different kind of game, we were 2-0 up but the front players are really dangerous for them so you have to come on and be ready, I felt it went well.”

David Luiz left the field at Goodison Park for an injury and, at present, is not sure the Brazilian defender will be available for Chelsea‘s next game.

However, manager Antonio Conte believes Nathan Ake will be a good replacement as he can stand in for David Luiz.

I am very pleased for the impact of Ake in the Everton game”. – Conte told Sky Sports News – “He came on and I think he looks a veteran and it is great. He is only a young player that started to play for two years, Watford and Bournemouth, and now is showing great commitment, work-rate, concentration when I ask him to play. It is great for him.”

In the last few days Petr Cech not only expressed his frustation on how goalkeepers are selected to play games in different competition at Arsenal, but...
