Marcos Alonso told SkySports HQ he’s glad Chelsea quartet Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois, N’Golo Kante and Willian are having some rest following the World Cup 2018 in Russia.
He added: “They will hopefully come with batteries charged to have a good season with us. They are Chelsea players, I am not even thinking about that [them leaving]: I am looking forward to seeing them after holidays”.
“They are top players, very important for us. Every season with Chelsea we have to fight for every competition and we will go for it”.
It is understood Real Madrid are plotting a massive bid to land both Courtois and Hazard to Santiago Bernabeu after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure earlier this summer.
Barcelona have reportedly given up in their pursuit of Chelsea winger Willian, while N’Golo Kante remains a target to revamp midfield.
Moreover, SSC Napoli‘s president Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly keeping tabs also on Olivier Giroud as Carlo Ancelotti wants to bring in a new striker.
