Chelsea boss Antonio Conte rules, again, David Luiz and Ross Barkley out for Crystal Palace clash tomorrow.

David Luiz is injured. Also Barkley,” the Italian coach said.

Then I have to check a couple of situations before making the decisions for the game.”

N’Golo Kante missed Sunday’s defeat at Manchester City after fainting following a training session 48 hours before the game.

The French midfielder has since been given the all-clear following medical tests.“N’Golo is fine. He trained the whole week and he’s in good form,” Conte said.

“Last week, on Friday, it was very cold. After the training session he passed out briefly in the dressing room.

“The doctor brought him to have many check-ups, to understand his physical condition, but it was all clear.

“I think on Sunday he was well, but at the same time it was right not to take the risk.

“He’s OK. Every check-up is OK, perfect.”

The Telegraph reports that N’Golo KantĂ© scared Chelsea team-mates and staff after fainting in Cobham dressing room after training a couple of days ahead of Manchester City clash.

The Blues players were shocked as they were terrified Kante  had suffered a heart problem when he momentarily passed out in front  of them.

The Telegraph continues on in its report:

“Kante was  sent to a specialist for a series of cardiology tests, which,  fortunately, all came back clear.

Having found no heart problems or other issues, the specialist report  cleared Kante to play for Chelsea against City but the 26-year-old  felt unwell on Sunday morning and it was decided to take no risks.  No specific reason was given by the specialist as to why Kante would  have fainted, but it has been suggested that last week’s freezing  temperatures may have been a contributing factor.

Having sat out the City game, Kante was back in at Cobham on Monday  and completed a training session without suffering any problems.  Barring any fresh injury, he is expected to be available for  Saturday’s Premier League game against Crystal Palace and next week’s  Champions League last-16 clash against Barcelona. “

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante spoke to the club official website ahead of this afternoon clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford:

“It’s important to win,” said the 26-year-old.

“The Premier League is another competition, we are fourth in the table and if we want to play Champions League next season we have to win these type of games.

“We know Man United have good players but it’s one team against another, our tactics against their tactics. We did well against them at home, I think it will be a little bit different but I hope we can win.’

“I’ve never won at Old Trafford but at Chelsea we’ve beaten them three times.

“I hope I can win my first game against them away.

“We are playing Manchester United and if we win we will be level on points with them.

Liverpool are four points in front of us [having played a game more], Tottenham are fifth but only one point behind so it’s very tight.

“We have to keep winning and hopefully we will be in the Champions League next season. Second place is still possible, we have to fight for it and see what we can do at the end of the season.”

Chelsea's Frank Lampard, left , chases after Barcelona's Lionel Messi during their Champions League semifinal first leg soccer match at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge stadium in London,Wednesday, April 18, 2012.

Frankie Lampard faced Leo Messi more than once during his career and the Argentine star has never succeeded in scoring to Chelsea in all the previous encounters, where Lampard was present as well.

The Blues legend knows how to stop him and, besides this, he  rates Messi, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, as the greatest player of all time, admitting his former club will need luck to stop him in his tracks.

However, Super Frank believes N’Golo Kante holds the key to try to stop him in this tie:

“Whoever is nearest to him has to take the responsibility to take that space because the minute you let him get his head up and run freely at you, you won’t get near him. I can say that from experience.

“There will be periods when you just have to back off. The problem is that being at home, there will be people wanting to see Chelsea have a bit of a go at them.

“But their players are that good, you have to back off to deny them the space where they can really hurt you.

“It is a fine line for Chelsea. They need to sit back but at the same time put pressure on him so he doesn’t become relaxed on the ball.

“This is where I think N’Golo Kante will be key. He is the one in Chelsea’s midfield with the abilities you need because he is so quick into the tackle.

“But it is important all 11 press their opponents, starting with those players at the top of the pitch.”

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante believes it’s difficult to explain why the Blues lost last night vs Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge.

We cannot explain it,’ Kante told Chelsea official website. “I think we did a good first half, we had some chances but we didn’t score. When you lose 3-0 at home it’s hard. Bournemouth are a team who play good football. They surprised us in the second half; they scored three goals. This happens sometimes. We have to react and look forward to the game on Monday, and try to win again. We had control of the game at times but we didn’t create chances, and this can happen. We have to correct this and try and do better for the next game.”

Chelsea will play their next game vs Watford and this match can mark the debut of the two new signings Emerson Palmieri and Olivier Giroud: “I know Olivier Giroud from the French national team. We all know what he did at Arsenal. He’s a good striker who can score many goals. Emerson I don’t know well, but from what I have heard he is a good player. Kante went on. “We hope they can bring something to the team and help us achieve something this season and in the future.”
