Inter Milan have announced the appointment of Antonio Conte as their manager after the Italian put the pen to paper on a three-year-contract.

The former Chelsea boss led the Blues to the Premier League title in 2017 before lifting an FA Cup back in 2018.

Current Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri could join Conte in Italy as he reportedly received a massive offer from Serie A champions Juventus following the victory in Europa League final earlier on Wednesday in Baku.

Lucas Piazon has joined Serie A side Chievo Verona on loan until the end of the season, Chelsea have confirmed via their official website.

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan with Fulham before returning to Stamford Bridge ahead of a further move.

Piazon was an unused substitute in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg victory over Tottenham earlier last week.

Chievo Verona are currently struggling at the bottom of Serie A table having earned just 8 points from 21 games (the club also received a three points deduction).

Gonzalo Higuain has today joined Chelsea on loan until the end of current season, with an option to make the deal permanent or extend his loan spell at Stamford Bridge for the 2019/2020 campaign as well.

Upon completing his move to the club, the Argentine striker said: “When the opportunity to join Chelsea presented itself I had to take it. It’s a team I’ve always liked that has a lot of history, a wonderful stadium and they play in the Premier League, a league I’ve always wanted to play in.

I now hope I can give back that trust Chelsea have shown me out on the pitch. I can’t wait to start and I hope to adapt as soon as possible”.

Gonzalo Higuain will play for Chelsea on loan until the end of current season with an option to make the deal permanent, Juventus and the Premier League giants have confirmed via their official website a few minutes ago.

An official statement from Juventus confirms the Blues have an option to buy the former AC Milan (by paying a €36m fee) or to extend his loan until 2019/2020 season (by paying a €18m fee).

Meanwhile, a statement from Chelsea read: “Gonzalo Higuain has today joined Chelsea on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 31-year-old striker moves to Stamford Bridge from Italian side Juventus. He spent the first half of the campaign on loan at AC Milan where he scored eight goals.

A proven goalscorer throughout his career, and an Argentina international, arrives with a wealth of experience at the highest level having consistently shown his attacking quality during spells in Argentina, Spain and Italy.

Clinical in and around the penalty area, as well as providing a strong aerial threat, he previously played under Maurizio Sarri at Napoli in 2015/16, when he finished as top scorer in Serie A with 36 goals, breaking a long-standing Italian record.”

22-year-old star Kasey Palmer has ended-up his loan spell at Blackburn Rovers and has joined Bristol City on loan until the end of the season.

The Chelsea loanee told the club’s official website: “I spoke to Jay when making the decision. He told me it was a great club to be at and it’s the right club for me,”

“My first impressions are all good. I’ve walked around the stadium, got a feel for the place, I’ve met the staff and I’m raring to go. Hopefully I can repay the trust that the head coach has shown in me.

“The first day is always difficult, getting to know everyone but hopefully I can get down to business quickly, train with the boys and get to know everyone and hopefully produce the goods on the pitch.”

Palmer made 14 appearances with Blackburn Rovers in the first six months of current season, scoring once against Brentford in July.
