According to Calciomercato, Chelsea target Jonathan Calleri will receive an Italian passport in the next few days which greatly facilitate the Blues luring him at Stamford Bridge as they will not have to worry about the work permit for the young striker.
The 22-year-old Argentinian has been heavily linked with a move at Chelsea during the January transfer window. And the latest information about his efforts for receiving an European passport only confirm rumors that the young striker may soon leave Boca Juniors.
Calleri is considered one of the best young strikers in South America with an impressive record of 21 goals and provided 11 assists during this season.
As Diego Costa, Loic Remy and especially Radamel Falcao are not currently at their best, the Argentinian striker may be a godsend out of trouble for Jose Mourinho.
For now, however, the rumours about the potential transfer of Calleri has not been confirmed by anyone from his entourage nor the Chelsea club.
