Chelsea have been cleared of wrongdoing over the loan of Mohamed Salah to Roma following a complaint to FIFA made by Fiorentina.

Fiorentina complained to FIFA claiming that they got a permanent deal option to exert after the loan spell from January 2015 to June 2015, but the Egyptian player eventually decided to move to Roma.

The decision was reported by PA Sport to have rested with the player, who signed for Chelsea from Basel in January 2014, and Fiorentina’s complaint has been thrown out.

A FIFA spokesperson said: “We can confirm that the dispute resolution chamber [DRC] dealt with the dispute opposing the Italian club, ACF Fiorentina, to the player, Mohamed Salah Ghaly, and the English club, Chelsea FC.

“The findings of the relevant decision, without grounds, have been communicated to the parties on June 8, 2016.

“The claim of the Italian club was rejected. Since the decision is not yet final and binding, we are not in a position to comment on it any further.”

The loan to Roma included an option for Salah to be permanently signed by the Serie A club, but he is still a Chelsea player and is set to be assessed by incoming head coach Antonio Conte in July.

Dutch midfielder Marco van Ginkel would be happy to leave Chelsea to stay at PSV Eindhoven.

The 23-year-old spent the 2014-15 season with AC Milan before joining Stoke last summer, only for the Potters to cut short his year-long loan deal in January: Chelsea soon loaned him to PSV, where he made an impact and was crucial in title winning campaign.

Now that he found a team where he fits and not feeling confidence from his parent club, van Ginkel would be glad to move permanently to the Eredivisie side:

“It is still unclear what I am going to do. I need to report to Chelsea at some point in July and there is new coach there; I need to know what he intends to do,” he said to the Dutch newspaper De Telegraf.

“I am not feeling any pressure, I had a good half season here and I feel fine. If I don’t have a future in London, Chelsea would have to sell as I would only have one year left on my contract after next season.

“I had a good time at PSV, so a transfer is possible.”

Alexandre Pato recently made clear his wish is to stay at Chelsea for the next season.

The Brazilian striker came to the Blues club on loan last January, that means the club would have to pay a fee to his parent club, Corinthians, if they want to sign him with a permanent deal.

And about this, the Braziliand side president Roberto de Andrade claimed:

“If Chelsea don`t pay for his transfer he will move back to Corinthians,” The Sun reports.

“And once back with us he will be used.”

A clear way to say that Roman Abramovich won’t have any discount or favour if he wants to keep Pato at Stamford Bridge.

The Telegraph claims that Liverpool, West Ham and a host of German clubs are keen on the Dutch defender Nathan Ake, who has impressed while on loan at Watford this season.

Chelsea will demand more than £10m for Ake if the club decides to sell him, and as we have already reported Watford will try to seal a deal to sign him on a permanent basis.

Ake can play in the centre of defence, midfield or at full-back, then Chelsea are wary of letting him go.

Nathan Ake

Quique Sanchez Flores wants to sign Chelsea loanee Nathan Ake on a permanent basis; the Dutch defender has impressed during his season-long stay at Vicarage Road, but he signed a new long-term deal at Stamford Bridge before off heading to Watford last summer.

He was expected to play back-up to Jose Holebas but has instead been regularly in Watford Starting XI.

Ake is highly-rated at Chelsea and he wants to stay for a first-team chance, but an offer in the region of £3m could be enough for Watford to seal Ake’s signature.
