Agusti Benedito believes he can take the highly rated young Frenchman to the Camp Nou, and has claimed to have spoken to the Juventus midfielder in regard to a potential transfer.

Barcelona beat Pogba’s Juventus 3-1 in the Champions League final in Berlin at the beginning of June and many believe that that is the former-Manchester United youth player’s final game for the Italian champions.

Benedito is quoted on Catalan TV channel 8 al dia as saying:

“I have spoken to Pogba. “First, I contacted Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli, then spoke directly with the player.

“They have proposed an annual salary of €12m after tax and a transfer fee of €80m.”

Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu has admitted that Paul Pogba is indeed one of the Champions League winners’ targets this summer, despite the club being unable to sign anyone until January because a transfer embargo.

Pogba has been linked to just about every big club in Europe, and transfer speculation has increased since Juventus’ season ended with the 3-1 defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League final in Berlin. The French midfielder is said to be a target for Chelsea, but Barcelona are adamant that they can persuade him to join their ranks.

Mr Bartomeu is quoted in the Spanish press as saying:

“Pogba is a great player and it’s true he is one of our objectives. Obviously we are interested in Pogba, but I cannot say any more than that. We cannot sign anybody before January, so I can’t say more.”

Pogba was let go by Manchester United as a youth player, another club he is currently lined with.

Michel Platini states that: “Pogba isn’t a superstar. I don’t know if he is someone who can be on the same level as Messi or Ronaldo. It’s interesting to notice that when he loses the ball and his teammates suffer, they yell at him straight away.”

It is weird that the French former Juventus star states this kind of declaration being also chief UEFA president. He is supposed to support one of the best young talent seen in recent years, Paul could give to the French national team an important boost in the next European Cup and all the competitions in future.

The 22-year-old is been in the middle of many speculations about his future far from Juventus Stadium. All top clubs are keen to sign him, in Premier League like Chelsea but also PSG and in Spain as well.

Pogba stayed at Juventus last summer but hinted an exit soon

Premier League sides could face a double transfer hijack because of Juventus, according to the Italian football expert Tancredi Palmeri.

The Serie A side are set to receive a high amount of money as they face Barcelona in this season’s Champions League final.

This news has seen Juventus reconsider their options concerning star midfielder Paul Pogba, who is wanted by a host of English clubs, including Manchester City, Chelsea and Man United. Furthermore, the French does seem happy to stay in Turin and renew his contract.

Meanwhile, the Italian team are also expected to buy Paulo Dybala, who has been courted by Arsenal, and Liverpool, amongst others, as Rosanero’s president Zamparini recently revealed: indeed he ordered manager Iachini not to place on the pitch the Argentinian anymore to preserve him.

Having clinched the Premier League title, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is already shifting focus to next season. But what are his future plans for the Blues side?

The Special One is in currently in his home country, Portugal, having a deserved rest for three days after a long, but fruitful season.

He returned home as Premier League winner for the third time in five seasons as manager of Chelsea. But as he already told the audience, he is already planning how to improve his squad and try to reach new heights.

Mourinho will now look to build a team that can dominate for years to come and that can win the Champions League, an achievement that would draw Mourinho level with Bob Paisley and Carlo Ancelotti, who have three wins in Europe’s elite competition.

He knows what changes he needs to make to his team need to compete with top clubs like Barcelona and Bayern Munich in Europe, and dominate in the Premier League for years, playing stunning football as they did for the first half of the season.

“We need a couple of players to give more strength and depth to the squad,” Mourinho said last week. “We want to keep the same number of players and have a more uniform group in terms of not quality but experience, to give us that little bit of extra in case we progress in the Champions League.”

Some names like Paulo Dybala, Alexandre Lacazette and Radamel Falcao, who have all appeared in recent weeks, would give Chelsea more options to rotate a squad that relied on 13 or 14 players this season and looked exhausted in the last part of the campaign.

A reliable goalkeeper has to be found since Blues legend Petr Cech reportedly looks to move elsewhere to find more regular first team football. A new left-back and goalscoring winger could also be on Mourinho’s wish list, with Filipe Luis and Juan Cuadrado struggling to make an impact since their arrivals.

Speaking about having a bright and dominant future, the Blues youngsters will surely be more involved next season. The U21’s won the FA Youth Cup, and the U19’s won the UEFA Youth Cup. Hot prospects like Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Dominic Solanke and Isiah Brown will be under the spotlight next season as they will look to break into Mourinho’s plans. But also, some of the most talented, yet more established, young players in Europe, like Paul Pogba, Marcus Reus and Koke, will be closely watched over the coming transfer window.

Juventus are believed to be considering moves for both Oscar and former Chelsea Player of the Year Juan Mata, should Paul Pogba and Carlos Tevez leave Turin as expected.

Pogba is considered to be one of the brightest young talents in European football and is wanted by just about every big club on the continent.

Chelsea are reportedly front runners for the Frenchman’s signature, with Brazil international Oscar believed to be part of a deal which will bring down the price considerably.

Should Pogba leave, he may well be followed out of the door by Carlos Tevez, best known by supporters in England for a successful if not controversial time between 2006 and 2012 when he played for West Ham United and both Manchester clubs, and left for Italy after apparently never settling into life in the UK.

He is believed to want a move back to his native Argentina, and Juventus have identified Juan Mata as the man to replace him. Mata, who joined Chelsea in 2011, won the Champions League and the FA Cup in his first season, the Europa League in his second as well as two Player of the Year awards at Stamford Bridge. The Spaniard then moved to Manchester United in what was then the Red Devils’ record transfer (£37.1 million) after failing to secure a regular place in the team after Jose Mourinho’s return.

23-year old Oscar has made over 100 appearances since moving from Brazilian side Internacional in 2012 for £25 million. After signing for Chelsea from Valencia in 2011, Mata made 135 appearances for the Blues. He scored 33 goals in that time, having since made 43 appearances for United since moving there in 2014.

Pogba stayed at Juventus last summer but hinted an exit soon

Chelsea are preparing a deal worth £74m for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, according to Football Express.

The former Manchester United midfielder has been linked with a summer exit from Juventus.

Although he has played a massive part in their three successive Serie A titles, if recent history is anything to go by, the tendency in Serie A is to sell important players abroad – Ibrahimovic, Pastore, Jovetic, Thiago Silva, Verratti and many more.

In particular, the French international has reportedly attracted the likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona but it is now understood that Chelsea have emerged as front runners.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho is keen to pursue a summer move and is preparing a deal worth £74m – very close to the price Juventus fixed of £100m. Yet, part of the money would be covered by offering Brazilian midfield pair Oscar and Ramires in exchange for Pogba.

According to Football Express News, Juventus have been granted permission by Chelsea to make a bid for Oscar during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Italian side are looking to replace their “Gioconda” – so was dubbed by his agent – Paul Pogba. The Frenchman has attracted interest from a number of top European clubs. And the Brazilian duo may add an excellent mix of experience and freshness to start a new cycle in the midfield. Pirlo, another key member of their squad, is also reaching retirement, therefore prompting Juventus to look further afield to find replacements as they look to win their fourth consecutive Serie A title.

Juve officials have sent scouts to a number of potential replacements, and it’s now understood that Chelsea‘s Brazilian midfielder Oscar is top of their wishlist and the interest seems to be genuine.

The Brazil international joined Chelsea in 2012 and has made a big impact but his chances of starting in Jose Mourinho’s regular XI have dropped after the January signing of Juan Cuadrado from AC Fiorentina.

PSG have apparently leap-frogged Chelsea for the signature of Juve’s Paul Pogba as the Parisien club are ready to offer a £73m bid.

According to reports out of Italy, PSG are willing to use Edinson Cavani as well as Marco Verratti as bait, plus £14.5m.

Edinson Cavani currently valued at £36.5m, whilst Verratti is valued  at £22m, and both are regular starters for the Frencn champion.

The Frenchman, annual Salary of £7.2m may be the reason as to why  Juve director Guiseppe Marrota is now willing to show Pogba the exit door.

It is understood that Pogba’s agent Raiola has already held talk with PSG, with both camp certain of reaching an agreement at the end of the season.

The former Man Utd youngster has been linked with a return to Old Trafford and Chelsea as of late, however it is PSG who seems to have gained the upper hand.
