Gary Neville reckons Premier League title will go to Manchester this season: the Sky Sports pundit is not sure if United or City will win it, but he is sure the league trophy will be back in his city.

“I said last season that the title would come to Manchester – and I was wrong – but I think this year it will.

“I think Chelsea will dip a little bit,” the Manchester United legend claimed.

“Not in a negative way, but just having the Champions League will bring different challenges.

“I think Tottenham will be strong, but I feel that either United or City will win it, but I’m not sure who!

“I say it every year, whoever recruits best, wins the league.

“Chelsea getting N’Golo Kante was a masterstroke and Eden Hazard and Diego Costa came back to form.

“All the clubs are going for the same players, they’re all expensive and controlled by agents.

“So, whoever has the best relationship, the best contacts and is willing to put the money in will probably do it,” the former England international concluded.

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger spoke out following his move to Stamford Bridge from AS Roma last week.

“We speak about Rome and Chelsea and Chelsea’s a big club, – Rudiger told the club’s official website – Roma’s a big club too in Italy but it’s a different level.

“For me the most [important] reason was the coach, Antonio Conte. He’s a fantastic coach because he improved a lot of players. Last season [Marcos] Alonso and [Victor] Moses played great.”

Tiemoue Bakayoko was announced yesterday as new Chelsea signing from AS Monaco on a £40m move.

The Frenchman told the club’s official website: “I am very happy to be here. For me this is the biggest English club, and I hope to achieve great things here. I am very proud”.

“Chelsea is a great club with a great history, and they are the champions of England. My wish was to be at the best English club there is today”.

“I am very happy and proud for me, my family and the people who have been following me for a very long time. Now the work starts for all of us together to progress”.

Bakayoko pointed out the importance of pre-season as Chelsea are set to travel to China and Singapore.

“I have the ambition to play as many matches as possible – he said – To progress as much as I can with a great coach like Antonio Conte, and then I have the objective of taking part in the World Cup at the end of the season”.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa is set to leave the club following the recent argument with manager Antonio Conte.

Former Blues’ winger Paul Canoville ‘it is a worrying situation because Chelsea need a striker in place’.

Canoville, interviewed by SkySports, claimed: “Everyone knows that in the Premier League you need a standout striker. You need someone who’s capable of holding the ball up and can finish”.

“Chelsea have been linked to [Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang and Morata but foreign teams are asking English clubs for a lot of money for these players and there is no certainty that they can do it in the Premier League”.

“Morata has also not been getting regular games at Real so he’s bound to be a little rusty. Chelsea need a player that is suited to the system and can build up his fitness during pre-season and can fit in right away.”

New Chelsea signing Tiemoue Bakayoko has revealed his first speech with manager Antonio Conte after his £40m move from AS Monaco.

“We spoke a lot about tactics, and training, – he said – He took the time to talk to me about my game and explain I must be serious-minded and work hard”.

“I know that the Premier League is a very difficult championship, one of the most difficult in the world. It is very physical and I know you must be in fighting form to compete in this league”.

Bakayoko added: “I think I am an intelligent player who offers physicality and can also dribble and get by people”.

“I have got a great reception and I’m very much impressed by the facilities here. Everything is much bigger than I have known, and it seems like the perfect place to play football”.

“I haven’t been to Stamford Bridge yet but I can’t wait to see this big stadium” he ended.
