Monaco have told Chelsea they want three of the west London’s best young players on loan in exchange for Radamel Falcao, according to reports in France.

Falcao has been heavily lined with a move to Stamford Bridge since last season finished and it appear as if an agreement to make him a Chelsea player, if only for one year on loan from Monaco, was close to being agreed.

Now the Ligue 1 club have demanded that in order to let one of their prized assets go on loan again, Falcao spent a frustrating and injury affected season at Manchester United last campaign, they would need three members of Chelsea’s impressive academy, including perhaps the most promising prospect of them all, Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Along with the midfielder Monaco also want defenders Nathan Ake and Andreas Christensen. Should Chelsea agree to such a deal then they would have to pull Nathan Ake out of a deal to join Middlesbrough- ChelseaNews24 reported that the Dutch defender was joining the Championship club on loan next season.

This proposition will test Chelsea’s determination to bed-in the abundance of talent they have in their academy. The club has made bringing in a striker its priority this summer transfer window after the departure of Didier Drogba and the impending one of Loic Remy. At least two of the players Monaco want, of which one is Ruben Loftus-Cheek, have been earmarked as possibilities for first team football at Chelsea next season.

Fluminense have confirmed that Kenedy will be leaving the club this summer with a number of reports linking the highly rated attacker to Chelsea.

Kenedy has been the subject of speculation for months, and scouts from a number of top European clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United and Barcelona have been to see him play in Brazil.

Reports in South America suggest that it is the English champions that have won the race to sign the 19-year old who is considered to be the best young talent to come out of Brazil since Neymar.

Should Kenedy join Chelsea he will be the latest of a strong Brazilian contingent at Stamford Bridge, with compatriots Oscar, Ramires and Willian established members of the first team. ChelseaNews24 reported in April that Chelsea were pursuing Kenedy with £8 million being touted as the price.

Italian champions Juventus will pursue Real Madrid midfielder Isco after Oscar turned down a move to Turin.

ChelseaNews24  reported this morning that Oscar’s agent Kia Joorabchian had described chances of the Brazil international moving to Juventus as “impossible”. The story has progressed since then and according to the Daily Express  and Gazzetta dello Sport Juventus have turned their attention on Real Madrid midfielder Isco.

The Champions League runners-up are almost certain to lose Paul Pogba, probably to the club they lost the final in Berlin to, Barcelona, and are looking for a replacement before any deal for the Frenchman is agreed.

Isco is their second choice after Oscar, and he reportedly has a buy-out clause of £106 million. He joined Real Madrid from Malaga in 2013 and is also being pursued by Arsenal.

Manchester United have been told they must break the British transfer record in order to sign Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos, according to reports in the Spanish press.

Ramos, 29, has become United’s top transfer target in recent days as the 20-time English champions seek to rejuvenate their weak defence. Manchester United’s back line was often reliant upon goalkeeper David de Gea, who is almost certain to be going in the other direction this summer, and Ramos appears to be the perfect choice to lead their team into what they hope will be a title challenge next season.

Both Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, the rocks behind their dominance of English football in the last few years of Sir Alex Ferguson’s reign, have left in the past two summer transfer windows leaving the Red Devils hopelessly weak in defence.

Should Man Utd buy Ramos they will have to pay a British record transfer record €90 million, roughly £64 million, breaking the fee they paid Real Madrid for Angel di Maria last summer, then £59 million. That fee would also break the record paid for a centre-back- Chelsea received €50 million for David Luiz from PSG last summer.

Oscar’s potential move to Juventus is not going to happen and the Brazil midfielder will stay at Chelsea for the foreseeable future, according to his agent.

Kia Joorabchian described the possibility of Oscar moving to the Italian champions as “completely impossible,” and that nothing has changed since the former Internacional player signed a new contract last November.

Rumours have been rife for months that Oscar, who played 41 times last season and scored seven goals for Chelsea, will be sacrificed as part of a deal to bring Juventus’ highly rated French midfielder Paul Pogba to Stamford Bridge, but that move is also as Pogba appears to be moving closer to a switch to Champions League winners Barcelona.

Speaking to the media in Italy about his client possibly moving to Juventus, Mr Joorabchian had this to say:

“It’s completely impossible and there is no truth to it at all.”

Everton have announced the signing of Gerard Deulofeu from Barcelona for £4.72 million.

The winger, a product of Barcelona’s famous youth academy, has returned to Goodison Park having spent the 2013/14 season on loan there. He went back to Barcelona but was sent out on loan to fellow La Liga side Seville, and has now left the Camp Nou permanently.

The Champions League winners are believed to have a two year buy-back clause in the deal that sends the 21-year old to Merseyside.

Douglas Costa
Douglas Costa has been a key man for Shaktar this season

Bayern Munich have agreed to pay £25 million for Shakthar Donestk midfielder Douglas Costa, according to reports in Germany.

Costa had been strongly linked with Chelsea and he had spoken of his desire to play, not only in England, but for Jose Mourinho’s side. ChelseaNews24 reported earlier this month that Costa was closing in on a move to Chelsea, but it appears that the club has lost out to the German champions in the race to sign the highly rated attacking midfielder. Chelsea have reportedly begun to focus on singing Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid.

The 24-year old is expected to sign a four year contract by next week.

Chelsea have been lined to yet another Atletico Madrid player, this time in the shape of Arda Turan as the Premiership champions seek to replace Filipe Luis.

The two clubs have done a lot of business together in the past two seasons with Diego Costa and Filipe Luis swapping the Spanish captital for the English one; goalkeeper Thibaus Courtois also spent three seasons on loan at the Vicente Calderon between 2011 and 2014. Koke and Miranda have been linked with moves to Stamford Bridge in recent years, and Chelsea are currently pursuing Atletico’s French winger Antoine Griezmann.

Arda Turan is the latest feature of Atletico’s successful side to be spoken of in the context of moving to west London with Spanish newspaper AS saying that Chelsea will use Luis, who Atletico wish to buy back, as part of a deal to buy the Turkey international.

Turan’s agent said yesterday that his client wants a new challenge and wishes to move to England. Diego Simeone, the Atletico manager, did not mention Turan when he listed his “untouchables”, players who were not for sale at any cost. Only Koke and Diego Godin have such a status.

Nathan Ake

Middlesbrough have agreed to take Chelsea youngsters Nathan Ake and Tomas Kalas on loan next season, according to the Evening Standard.

Ake and Kalas’ new club got very close to promotion from the Championship but lost the Play-Off Final to Norwich City. One of their star performers was Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford, whose goal haul earned him the Championship Young Player of the Year award, and they have once again taken advantage of the abundance of talent Chelsea have in youth football.

Both defenders are rated very highly by Jose Mourinho and the Portuguese wants them to have as much first team football as possible, something that they are unlikely to get at Stamford Bridge next season.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has disapproves once again of the way Jose Mourinho conducts himself, saying that the Chelsea boss takes all the glory for his team’s success.

Pellegrini, who lost his Premiership title to Mourinho last season as Chelsea won the league by leading August until May, was critical of the Portuguese last season and his style of football found himself failing in the mind games that are typical in the Premiership title race.

The Chilean is under pressure after Man City let go of the title so easily, and he probably would be replaced had Jurgen Klopp or Carlo Ancelotti, who both left Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid respectively at the end of last season, opted to take seasons off.

Speaking to Chilean newspaper El Mercurio, Pellegrini said this:

“When he wins, Mourinho wants to take credit for everything. I don’t do that. When I won the Premier League, I didn’t say a word.

“I don’t have any problem with him, he’s not my enemy and there isn’t any conflict with him but I differ from Mourinho on all fronts. I have no interest in analysing him as a person.”
