Speaking to France Football, Kylian M’Bappe revealed that during the recent 2018 Russia World Cup spoke with Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante to convince him to join PSG.

I spoke to N’Golo during the World Cup, but not extensively because I know that when you bombard the brain with transfer stuff”. M’Bappe said. “At the end, I left a few words in his pockets, that he would have discovered once he got home to properly send a message.”

Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the appointment of Gianluca Spinelli as their new goalkeeper coach.

The Italian leaves Chelsea after almost two years in charge under Antonio Conte’s management.

Spinelli has put the pen to paper on a deal until June 2023, as PSG confirmed via their official website.

The former goalkeeper coach of Como 1907, Genoa CFC and Italy national team, reunites with Gianluigi Buffon.

Spinelli has been crucial in Thibaut Courtois‘ development at Stamford Bridge and won silverware twice as Chelsea lifted the Premier League title in 2017 and FA Cup trophy earlier in May.

Paris Saint-Germain may have been given a boost in their transfer pursuit of Chelsea target and AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who could be eager to work with an italian goalkeeper coach as well as alongside with Juventus legend Buffon.

Gianluca Spinelli leaves Chelsea after two seasons in Antonio Conte’s staff at Stamford Bridge. The club would have been eager to extend his stay in London, but the former Genoa CFC goalkeeper coach has chosen instead to join Paris Saint-Germain and their latest signing Gianluigi Buffon.

Chelsea will reportedly keep Paolo Bertelli, who previously worked under Antonio Conte’s management, also in Maurizio Sarri‘s backroom staff.

Spinelli recently paid tribute to Chelsea star Thibaut Courtois as the Belgium international was crowned the best goalkeeper and took the Golden Glove at the World Cup.

Speaking to Italian media Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis claimed he’s not sure his former manager Maurizio Sarri will join Chelsea.

The Azzurri were recently linked to PSG goalkeeper Aerola and De Laurentiis was spotted in Paris but admitted that his trip to France was not linked with the transfer market:

“I was there because I had to attend a meeting of ECA”, he said.

“We have targeted him and Meret but there are two more players that we want. We have paid the release clause of Fabian Ruiz and I will only sell Hamsik for € 35 million, not € 30 million.”

“We have received an offer of € 15 million from China but whoever goes to play there is a former player to me.”

Questioned about Sarri, who many media claimed he was very close to be appointed as next Stamford Bridge boss, De Laurentiis said:

“Sarri? Are you sure he will join Chelsea? Who knows, time will tell…”

The Italian coach had € 8m release clause until the end of May, a clause that is not effective at the moment but that will work again since the 1st of July.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is the main candidate to replace Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid, Spanish outlet Marca claims.

The French manager resigned after winning three Champions League in a row, an all time record, for personal reasons.

The Spaniards were pursuing Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, but he just signed an extension of his deal with the North London club.

According to Marca, Conte is now in pole position for the job, as his relationship with Chelsea directors has fallen out in the past year.

Despite winning the Premier League at his first attempt and the FA Cup in his second season, Conte and the board keep disagreeing on transfer market and club strategy.

Chelsea still have to finalise the deal with former PSG manager Laurent Blanc, despite agreeing terms several days ago, as they continue to wait for ex Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri, who is trying to close his contract with the Italian side without paying a penalty.

Chelsea are edging closer to appoint former PSG manager Laurent Blanc after facing several problems in advanced talks with Maurizio Sarri, according to reports in England.

It is understood also Slavisa Jokanovic, who’s going to meet Fulham board in the next few weeks, remains a potential target to take over from Antonio Conte. The Italian boss is still in charge at the club, however is expected to be leaving the club soon.

Chelsea reportedly made Blanc their 2nd target to get the managerial job at Stamford Bridge.

Laurent Blanc, who previously played as a footballer with Manchester United, has not managed any football team since leaving Paris Saint-Germain in 2016.

Sarri’s future and potential appointment at Chelsea remains in limbo and reports in Italy believes a move is near to collapse after Chelsea told Maurizio Sarri they will not pay Napoli release clause.

Eden Hazard has warned Chelsea to sign players who will let them challenging in the title race if they want him to commit his future to the club.

Hazard has two years left on his present contract and is considering whether to sign a lucrative extension that would keep him at Stamford Bridge for the remaining prime years of his career.

The Belgian star, anyway, is frustrated by Chelsea’s failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League and, as we explained also yesterday, he is also a real target for clubs like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain.

Asked what it would take to stay with Chelsea in the long-term, Hazard replied:
“I’m waiting for new players next season. We will see.

“I want good players because I want to win next season the Premier League. I want to win a lot of things.”

This would be Hazard’s last big contract and the forward has no intention of rushing his decision, despite reports that Chelsea are willing to pay him around £300,000 ( € 430,000 ) per week.

That’s why I’m taking my time. It’s something big. I need to think of a lot of things. One thing for sure is I’m happy here.

“We can’t be in the Champions League next season so we need to win trophies. That’s it.

“I say many times before I think it is not my last game. It’s the last game of the season, that’s it.

“After the World Cup then we will be ready for the next season.

“But for me, in my mind, I’m here, I have one week to play now. Saturday is a massive game. I just want to win for me and them also.”

Hazard reveals the uncertainty surrounding Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has had no impact on the squad.

Conte is expected to leave at the end of the season after his relationship with the club’s board was ruined by their failure to back his transfer plans.

“We don’t think about that. We’re just focused on the game,” Hazard claimed.

“We have one game to play and then we’ll see what happens at the end of the season.”

“I need two more trophies, Champions League and FA Cup. That’s it,” Hazard said about the trophies he is missing in his personal cabinet.

“We’re Chelsea. We need trophies at the end of the season.

“At the moment we have nothing. We have not qualified for the Champions League. So the season has been bad.

“If we can’t be in the Champions League we need the trophy.

“It’s up to us to save the season with the FA Cup. I’ve never won the FA Cup. I hope this year is for me and for Chelsea. We will give everything.”

Chelsea and Hazard will face their former boss José Mourinho this weekend and the Portuguese has been criticised for conservative tactics this season, but Hazard expects United to pose a stern test.

“We know how he will play. We all know that. That’s why we need to be ready,” he concluded.

Eden Hazard wants to leave Chelsea after the team failed to qualify for next Champions League tournament.

According to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, the Belgian doesn’t want to stay at Stamford Bridge because he reckons one season out of the European most important competition could ruin his career.

Don Balon reports that the winger feels it’s time to move on and there are several teams ready the 27-year-old: Manchester City are among the teams that have enquired about his situation ahead of the summer transfer window.

PSG and Bayern Munich have also asked to be kept informed about Hazard’s plans, while Real Madrid are still linked with the Belgium star.

N’Golo Kante, Chelsea’s defensive midfielders since 2016 and bought for £32m, is one of the best midfielders in Europe. During this season, the French player has attracted interest from several clubs, especially from PSG who has confirmed his wish to bring him back in France but Blues’ number 7 explained his will to stay in London with Blues: “I am at home. It is my club, I am a Chelsea player”

“This is my second year at Chelsea. After what happened last season, it was a very good one for us because we got to celebrate winning the title.

He also commented Chelsea’s season and Blues’ goals: “In the second season, I have got to play in the Champions League and we are going again to finish in the top four.

“We will fight until the end to finish in the top four and to get in a Champions League position.

“We also have the FA Cup to play for – it is a good competition. Last season we failed in the final. It is the only trophy we can win this season, so we have to give everything to get to the final and win it.”
