Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher would not gamble on Antonio Conte‘s permanence on Chelsea bench for next season.

The current Sky Sports pundit reckons the Italian manager will be soon out of Stamford Bridge:

“I’d be very surprised if I’m sitting here in 12 months’ time and he’s the Chelsea manager,” the former defender claimed.

“I think he’s the type of manager who won’t accept the involvement from people above, especially on the back of winning the title.

“He’s not going to go quietly and it’s not great for the club when the manager is coming out and speaking the way he is.”

Carragher thinks Chelsea’s attitude toward his managers is not the best:

“What I would say is Chelsea have a business model, a very ruthless one. They’re a bit like Real Madrid in that I don’t think they value the manager like other clubs do.

“They’re not scared to get rid of a top manager or get rid of someone after 12 months, but you can’t really complain. Since Abramovich came in I think they’ve won more trophies than anyone.”

According to Sky Sports UK, despite his frustration for Chelsea lack of activity in the beginning of this transfer window, Antonio Conte remains committed to the club with whom he just won the Premier League.

“Sky Sports News HQ understands Chelsea are confident Conte, who is currently on holiday, remains committed to the Blues and will return for pre-season in the first week of July as planned.” the UK network reveals.

Last night Italian media reported a dissatisfaction from the ex Juventus coach, who was even ready to quit for misunderstandings with the Blues board.

But now, according to these new reports from Sky Sports, it seems the main issues were sorted out and Conte is not set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

The bombshell arrived this morning from Portugal: Cristiano Ronaldo can leave Real Madrid or, even better, Cristiano Ronaldo WANTS to leave Real Madrid.

Something incredible that could effect this transfer window in every country, with the Portuguese star that always admitted he would have loved a return to Manchester United, but also an occasion, for every top team in Europe, to close an authentic super deal, signing one of the best players in history that also brings sponsors, visibility and money. And among these clubs, of course, we find also Chelsea.

According to our respected sources inside Real Madrid this is not just a rumour: we understand that Ronaldo is REALLY mad to Spanish authorities as they wanted to involve him in a fiscal scandal, claiming he hasn’t paid € 17m of taxes over the past years, a thing that Gestifute, Jorge Mendes’ agency that are taking care of every aspect of Ronaldo’s professional life, dismissed with an official press release.

We also understand that Cristiano told his Portugal team-mates ( that are with him in these day since they are competing in Confederations Cup) that he would like to quit Real Madrid but, above all, Spain because he doesn’t feel respected in that country, since it’s not the first time Fiscalia are trying to get him into trouble with no apparent real reason.

Therefore, his Portuguese mates reported his discontent to A Bola, who broke the news this morning.

And according to our sources, what A Bola reported is true: Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the best players in football history if not the best, can really leave Real Madrid after eight years.

A transfer that can influence the entire summer transfer window, that promise to be MAD at this point.

Antonio Conte reveals that he never thought of quitting football after match fixing allegations.

The new Chelsea manager was accused of failing to report his knowledge of attempted match fixing in 2011 when he was in charge of Siena in the Italian Serie B.

Conte denied the allegations from the outset, but was handed a 10-month ban, later reduced to four on appeal, by the Italy Football Federation in 2012.

Anyway, the story ended last May when he was acquitted of the match fixing chargers in the final trial.

“I could have chosen another way. It would have been very easy for me to finish and let the time pass.

“In Italy, in the past, with this type of story, five years and it’s finished.

“But no, I wanted to be judged. I knew in my heart the story was bad for me and my family. Many people wrote bad things without knowing the reality.”

“The national team chose me as the coach in this period of [allegations of] the fixing.

“I want always to win and I work very hard to win but never, never like this.”
