Ex Chelsea boss José Mourinho will coach at Old Trafford this June.
The Portuguese manager will coach the “England” team in a UNICEF charity match in the stadium that will probably be his stadium for these upcoming years, being him repeatedly linked to Manchester United.
Sunderland‘s boss Sam Allardyce will be his assistant while Leicester – and ex Chelsea- manager Claudio Ranieri will coach the “Rest of the World” team, that Mourinho coached in 2014 in the same charity game, that he won for 4-2.
“I want to be the first one to win the Soccer Aid trophy for both teams,” said Mourinho.
“Sam and I will make a very good partnership and it will be a great feeling for Claudio to finally lose a match,” added the 53-year-old.
Meanwhile, Ranieri, who has led Leicester’s unexpected title chase this campaign, is looking forward for the challenged with his friend José:
“It is a great honour that (singer and match organiser) Robbie Williams has asked me to manage the Rest of the World XI and I’m looking forward to helping them defend their title,” Ranieri said.
