After helping Chelsea go through FA Cup last 16 with a goal in the 3-0 against Sheffield Wednesday Callum Hudson-Odoi spoke about his future.

The Blues talent has recently been linked to Bayern Munich, who would like to sign him before this window transfer window ends:

Asked if that was his last appearance in a Chelsea shirt, Hudson-Odoi told the BBC:

“I don’t know, I can’t say. But you know I just keep working hard and you never know what happens.”

He was then asked if he’d spoken to Bayern Munich at all, he added:

“I can’t say. I haven’t, I haven’t chatted.”

Speaking about the goal he scored, he said:

“I think that’s definitely one of my highlights. It was a great game today. I think Andreas [Christensen] found me well, saw the run and it was nice to top it off with a goal as well.”

Turning to man-of-the-match Willian, who was also being interview, he joked: “I learnt it from him as well!”

Willian brace and Callum Odson-Hodoi’s goal against Sheffield Wednesday sent Chelsea to FA Cup last 16 tonight.

New Blues striker Gonzalo Higuain made his debut with the Blues shirt with an average performance and was far to impress but he will have time to adapt to English football.

Chelsea scored his first goal with Willian on penalty,  Hudson-Odoi ( who could move on loan elsewhere in the next days) scored the second goal at 64′ finding space inside the area and firing in off Keiren Westwood to put the Londoners in total control.

Willian then sealed the match at 83′ with an outstanding finish from the edge of the box.

Bamford was hugely impressive last season

Championship side Sheffield Wednesday are due to make surprise bid for young Chelsea midfielder Patrick Bamford, according to reports in the Sheffield Star.

Bamford spent last season on loan at Wednesday’s league rivals Middlesbrough, appearing in the play-off final in what was a hugely successful season for the 23-year old, who scored 19 goals whilst also winning the Championship Player of the Year award.

The England U21 international signed for Chelsea in 2012 from Nottingham Forest for a fee of £1.5 million, with his current contract running until 2017.

Speculation has been rife this summer regarding Bamford’s future at Stamford Bridge, with
with Premier League sides Aston Villa, Sunderland, Newcastle, Everton, Southampton and West Ham all reportedly interested.

Boro have also expressed an interest an interest in retaining Bamford’s services, and it now seems that Wednesday, who recently sacked manager Stuart Gray, want to join the race for attacker’s signature.
