As revealed by himself with a post on Instagram, new Chelsea signing David Luiz chose the shirt number 30 for his new adventure at Chelsea, as the number 4 is already on Cesc Fabregas‘ back.
A big mistake or a marketing strategy? It’s still unknown if Adidas wanted to reveal us a big market news today, but the sport brand, that is the official Chelsea equipment supplier, published a photo of the Blues shirt with Mahrez name and the number 7 printed on it.
While we try to understand why this happened, it seems that Riyad Mahrez‘s future can be far from Leicester City: after Arsenal bidding € 50m ( £ 42m) on the Algerian player now it seems the Foxes star can move to the other side of London.
Chelsea unveiled their new home kit for season 2016/2017 this morning.
The club showed it in a video on their Facebook page with Eden Hazard and Ruben Loftus Cheek and then put it on sale on the online megastore on their website.

We all know the personality of Roy Keane and that he does never mince words, in fact he has blasted Eden Hazard for his half-time shirt swap with Angel di Maria during Wednesday night’s defeat to Paris Saint Germain.
He told ITV: “I’m afraid to comment on this. It’s bad enough at the end of the game. Half time in a big game. What has to be going through a player’s mindset in such a big game? You’re thinking about swapping jerseys at half-time? I wouldn’t even bother swapping shirts at the end of the game…At half-time? Shocking.”
Former Chelsea striker Samuel Eto has sent a signed shirt from his new team Antalyaspor to the US president Barack Obama. Ex Blues wrote the following message on the shirt: ”“From a son of Cameroon to the worlds most powerful man.”
New Chelsea signing from FC Nantes, Papy Djilobodji, claims to be “proud” to join the ” Chelsea family ” on his Instagram account.
The Senegal defender published a photo of himself holding a Chelsea shirt, with this message:
“Very proud to be part of the Chelsea FC family! It’s a dream come true. I can’t wait to get on the field and give it all!”
Chelsea launched their third kit for the current campaign this morning on their official website.
Here are the pictures of the shirts that John Terry and his fellow-mates will wear as a third choice in the season 2015/2016.
Diego Costa, Eden Hazard, Cesar Azpilicueta and Nemanja Matic are the players chosen to promote them and the shirt got some horizontal stripes that remind both the ones of the last season first kit and a tyre print, as the main sponsor now is Yokohama Tyres.
On June 12, 2014 Chelsea made officiale the signing of Cesc Fabregas.
The Spanish midfielder celebrated one year with the Blues today, posting the pictures of him holding the Chelsea t-shirt that day ( Fabregas was in Brazil to play the World Cup with Spain).
A nice way to remind that he really enjoys his Chelsea experience.
