According to various reports, Chelsea are again eyeing Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Even if the Portuguese coach said that he is not interested in the winter transfer window as he is pleased with his players but there are some rumours that the 26-year-old player has a strong position on Mourinho’s wishlist. Aubameyang is currently Borussia Dortmund top scorer with 15 goals in 13 games this season.

The Sun claims, the Blues will weigh up a £20million bid for the Gabon striker. While, SportsBild revealed last week that Borussia Dortmund have placed a €60m price-tag on their striker. What is more, the paper claims that Aubameyang whose contract expires in 2020 certainly will not leave the club in the winter transfer window.

Chelsea have already shown their interest in the striker on summer but the deal was not successful. So, as this remains mere speculation for now, Chelsea’s striker issue remains unsolved.

ESPN FC reveals that Chelsea are keen on securing the services of the Argentinian striker Jonathan Calleri currently playing at Boca Juniors. According to their sources, Chelsea scouts were present during Boca’s last game to see the young player in action.

Calleri is considered one of the best young strikers in South America with an impressive record of 21 goals and provided 11 assists during this season.

Due to the fact that Diego Costa, Loic Remy and especially Radamel Falcao are not currently at their best, and it is possible that at least one of them will leave Stamford Bridge, Jose Mourinho must look for a high quality replacement.

However, Chelsea must act quickly, because the young player found himself in the crosshairs of such giants as Inter Milan and Arsenal.

John Stones

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has said that any of his best players will not be leaving the team during winter transfer window. And this means that the potential transfer of John Stones to  Chelsea once again seems unreal.

The Blues have already tried several times to lure the young Englishman at Stamford Bridge but each time their offers were rejected by coach Martinez. And there is no indication that in January something can change about it.

Martinez said:

“I’m not worried at all – our best players will not be leaving in January,”

“We’re not in a position where we have to make financial decisions and our focus is on being as strong as we can together and keeping the continuity.”

“From our point of view the window in January will be to see if there’s anything to help our squad. We don’t look on it as a window to be really involved whether that’s buying or selling, it’s more a matter of continuity. It’s about developing competition for places between the ones we already have.”

Everton coach also commented on the mood in the team after last week’s bombings in Paris:

”We all experienced the feelings surrounding the game with England and France which showed what the game of football can do – showing humanity in difficult circumstances,”

“This weekend will be exactly the same. It is the perfect way to show the game of football has a strong role in bringing humanity together.”

According to the various reports, Jose Mourinho is considering making a move for Galatasaray star Wesley Sneijder.

The attacking midfielder has been linked with Chelsea since Jose Mourinho returned at Stamford Bridge. The Dutchman worked under Mourinho at Inter Milan where they won the treble together and there is no secret that they are in close friendly relations.

The Dutchman has signed a three-year contract extension with the Turkish giants last month but according to the Turkish paper Fanatik, Chelsea are ready to pay Sneijder’s £14million release clause from Galatasaray.

Information was not far confirmed by any of the interested parties, but latest Sneijder’s words on Mourinho may suggest that the transfer is just around the corner as former Inter Milan player was quoted by O Jogo as saying:

“Mourinho deserves more respect, it would be a mistake to fire him. People love it when he fails… but for what he did in every club where he worked, he deserves respect.”

“It’s difficult when you lose, when players are not one hundred percent fit, but he will react. That’s why Chelsea won’t let him go: he’s the only person able to react and to get it  back.”

According to the reports, Chelsea are lining up a surprise £20m bid for West Brom striker Saido Berahino.

The England Under-21 international has been identified as Chelsea’s new transfer target. It is said that the Blues are considering a £20million bid for the West Bromwich Albion forward.

Due to the fact that Falcao’s loan deal from Monaco is set to be scrapped after a disappointing spell, Jose Mourinho is looking for a suitable replacement and Berahino is understood to be on his radar.

The 22-year-old was valued over £25million in the summer but it is said that Albion may reduce the price. According to the rumours even if he will have only 18 months left on his contract in January, it is unlikely that he will extend his contract at the Hawthorns which may be a chance for Chelsea to lure the striker.
