Chelsea‘s loanee Tammy Abraham has scored 21 goals for Aston Villa so far this season.

Now the youngster says his target is to play at Stamford Bridge next season as he believes he has the ability to do so.

As a young kid, I’ve always believed I will play for Chelsea. I always believe that”. Abraham told Sky Sports News. That’s the aim going into next season.  I think I have the ability to. I just have to, when I get the opportunity, grab it with two hands.”

FIFA has confirmed today it has received Chelsea’s appeal against their transfer ban.

FIFA itself says “there is no exact timetable” for Chelsea’s case, and the appeal panel chairman must decide on freezing the punishment.

The ban has been imposed on the London club for the next two transfer windows for breaches of regulations relating to the transfer of 29 players aged under 18.

In the last few days, Bayern Munich have expressed their interest in signing Chelsea‘s youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The Blues defender Antonio Rudiger has revealed his team-mate asked him about the German giants, while now Marcos Alonso urges Hudson-Odoi to stay at Stamford Bridge as the Premier League is the best league to develop as a player.

He is a good player, but he is very young.” Marcos Alonso told Sky Sports. “He needs to have patience and to be hungry and fight for a place in this team. That is all he needs to do. He has all the conditions to be a great player. Now it is up to him to fight for a place here or try to find more minutes somewhere else.”

The Spaniard also claims especially Bayern Munich is not the right place for his young teammate. “Bayern Munich? We are Chelsea, another great team. The Premier League is the most competitive league in the world. I don’t know why someone would go to Bayern Munich.” Marcos Alonso underlines.

Chelsea‘s goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has impressed with some good performances in his first part of the season at Stamford Bridge.

The Spaniard said the fee paid by Chelsea for him and the fact of replacing Thibaut Courtois are not putting pressure on him: “I wouldn’t call it pressure, I would just say it is how the transfer market goes”. Kepa told Sky Sports. He went and I came in and I’m not one to focus on the comings and goings”.

Courtois won several trophies with Chelsea and now Kepa want to do the same as his colleague with the Blues: “I’m focused on myself and there is a great opportunity for me to come here. I wanted to take advantage of this and enjoy my football and look forward and not back”. the goalkeeper went on. “I’m happy here both on a personal and a team level and I’m happy here in London. Looking towards the future excites me with the possibilities we have to improve and I’m excited about what the future might bring.”

Mateo Kovacic is enjoying his stay at Chelsea and not only he said that coming to London has been a very good choice, but he also claims he would also like to play with the Blues, longer then his season-long loan.

“I think it was the most important thing I did for now in my career”. the midfielder told Sky Sports when asked about his move during the last summer transfer window. “It was a step I wanted a lot, I wanted to come here. I say thank you to my previous club, to Chelsea as well, who wanted me a lot. I am enjoying it and I like it a lot here. “For now, I am happy here. The city is amazing, the club is one of the best in the world, and my team-mates are great. I need to respect my previous club, Real Madrid. I can imagine myself staying here, but I have a contract I need to respect, and that is what I will do”.

If Mateo Kovacic would like a permanent move from Real Madrid to Chelsea, the Spanish giants, on the other hand, want to sign Eden Hazard:

For me, he is an incredible player,” Kovacic explained. “I did not know he was that good and he can easily be one of the two or three best players in the world. He asked me how it was there (at Real) but we are looking forward to having a great season together, to be fully concentrated on Chelsea. He is focused a lot on doing great things with Chelsea.”

After the defeat vs Wolverhampton on Wednesday night, Chelsea have fallen 10 points behind Manchester City and the Blues will face Pep Guardiola‘s team on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.

For Maurizio Sarri‘s side another defeat can mean the end of their Premier League title’s hopes, even if Marcos Alonso believes, whatever Saturday’s result will be, it’s too early to write Chelsea’s title hopes off.

It’s too early to talk about it, obviously. If we lose we are going to be 13 points from the top and that’s a lot of points but we have to think, prepare for the game well, and not pay attention to the table at the moment”. Alonso told Sky Sports. It is the perfect opportunity to come back. It will be a great game for sure, everyone will be very motivated to play”.

Also, Marcos Alonso explained where Chelsea have to be better if they want to get a good result vs the current Premier League champions: “We have to play more as a team. It’s something we have to analyse, we will try our best to improve as soon as possible,” Alonso added. “We’re not doing very well at the moment. More individually (than) as a team, we have to get better as a collective. We had the chances to win, we were controlling the game and started the second half having a couple of chances. The last few games we were not loyal to our style of play and, even if we did not deserve it, we lose”.

According to reports by Sky SportsChelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has made a decision on the immediate future of Callum Hudson-Odoi: the Italian doesn’t think the player is ready to play regularly with the Blues, so Sarri himself has given the “go-ahead” for a loan move in the January transfer window.

The London club would like Hudson-Odoi to move to a bottom-half Premier League club and both Burnley and Southampton have shown some interest.

Eden Hazard came from the bench tonight and scored a stunner which let Chelsea defeat Liverpool and advance to the Carabao Cup fourth round.

Maurizio Sarri‘s side and Jurgen Klopp team will meet again on Saturday at Stamford Bridge and Hazard believes tonight’s win will give the Blues more confidence ahead of this game which will be more important, according to the Belgian star, than tonight’s one.

“This result will give us more confidence because we drew with West Ham four days ago”. Hazard told Sky Sports“The game on Saturday is more important. We have got to try and beat Liverpool on Saturday”.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is back at Chelsea this season after his loan spell at Crystal Palace.

The Blues’ youngster is also part of England‘s team who tonight will face Switzerland: speaking with Sky Sports, Loftus-Cheek himself reflected on his career so far: “Being 22 feels quite old, considering some of the boys were playing when they were 17 or 18. I’d like to have more appearances by now, but it’s just the way my journey has gone, and I just have to be patient with it”. Loftus-Cheek said.  “I can see it as a positive; I’m playing for England, playing well when I play, and that’s without too many appearances so it’s still raw in that sense.”

Also, during the interview, Loftus-Cheek admitted the importance of his loan spell at Crystal Palace last season: “Being at Chelsea, it’s a top club with top players,” he said. “When I’m training at 17 or 18 with the first team, it was really good for my education playing with these top players”. Chelsea midfielder went on. “I really enjoyed playing and training with them, I could feel myself getting better every day and improving, but it got to a point where training wasn’t enough and you need the exposure in the Premier League. That’s when I took the chance to go to Palace, and even when that happened, I thought I could’ve done it earlier. I started really enjoying my football, playing in the Premier League every week, and I felt the benefits. The benefit of last season at Palace [was first-team football]. I was fortunate enough to be fit for that period where it’s like a game every three days over Christmas, and I got my body used to being able to play, have a rest, then play on a Tuesday. That was massive for me and I coped with it well.”
