Speaking about the available players for Stoke City away game Antonio Conte confirmed he is considering to start Eden Hazard after the Belgian completed his recovery from a broken ankle injury and, furthermore, that the only player that is not available for a calf injury is Danny Drinkwater, who will probably come back after the international break mid-October.

Of course, David Luiz cannot be selected for the Britannia Stadium clash, as he is suspended after receiving a straight red-card against Arsenal last weekend, while Tiemoué Bakayoko, who had a minor car accident yesterday, didn’t suffer any major consequence:

All players are available for tomorrow except Drinkwater. Bakayoko is fit, it was a minor accident, he is fit,” the Italian manager confirmed during today’s press conference.

Speaking about Eden Hazard, who started his first game with Chelsea after his broken ankle injury last Wednesday against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup, Conte said:

“I am pleased for Eden because in the last game he played very well, he played with a good intensity, now his injury is overcome, now we have to play three games, there is the chance to try to pick him for these games.”

Antonio Conte confirmed it again: Eden Hazard is back and he’s available to play against Leicester City tomorrow afternoon.

The Italian manager revealed he’s got no injured players for this clash and all the squad can be selected:

“We have no injury problems, all players available, someone can be tired but it’s normal after international break.

“Eden is available, he’s selected for tomorrow’s game, he’s improving a lot and working very hard to be ready, I have to decide the right moment for him to come back, but he’s available now.

“It’s normal when there is a bad injury and surgery to pay attention to the recovery, don’t forget Eden is an important player for us, he has to continue to play, not to stop himself.”

Eden Hazard and Tiemoué Bakayoko are back in training.

The two Chelsea players are recovering from serious injuries and missed the first two official games of the season, both defeats for the Blues: the one with Arsenal in the Community Shield and the Premier League debut with Burnley.

Antonio Conte ruled out both of them for Spurs game next weekend  but the pair was seen training with the rest of the squad in Cobham yesterday.

It’s possible they are not ready to play yet but to test their capacity to perform in a match, a special friendly game was arragend for tomorrow in Cobham: it will be the first time that Eden will be able to play since breaking his ankle in June, as well as Bakayoko since undergoing a knee surgery last May.

Should they show to be ready, they will be included in the Chelsea squad for Tottenham clash at Wembley next Sunday.

Antonio Conte wants no excuses after Burnley defeat at Stamford Bridge today: the Italian boss remarked that he is satisfied with his current squad and he’s not forcing Chelsea to make other moves in this transfer window:

“I can say that now we got these players and we must work with them, then if the club will be able to do something…better. But now we have to work with these guys.”

“We must focus on working very hard with these players. As for the transfer market, the club is trying to do the best. I am not worried, I am ready to fight with these players.

“I repeat: it is important for us to concentrate on our work, to be focused every day in training and to try to work in our best way. No excuses.”

Antonio Conte revealed that new signing Antonio Rudiger is ready for his Stamford Bridge official debut tomorrow.

The German defender will start in the first Premier League game against Burnley, as the Italian boss confirmed:

“Because we miss Moses for one game it could be an opportunity for Rudiger to start.

“I’ve been impressed so far, he’s a good player. He’s strong physically, he has a good personality and great technique.”

Rudiger will probably play as a centre-back in 3-men-defense while Cesar Azpilicueta will be moved on the right wing to replace Moses.

Another new signing, Alvaro Morata, is not sure to start but Conte revealed that the Spaniard is improving:

“It’s normal for the players that when they start to work with me, they need time to adapt to our style.

“Alvaro is working well and has improved a lot over the last 10 days in terms of his physical condition.

“He is starting to understand what I want from him during the game but for sure he needs time to adapt.

“For me, the striker has a really important role and it’s important for them to understand what positions I want them to take up. This role is more difficult to adapt to than others.

“We have been working very well and I must be pleased with the commitment of my players. It’s a pleasure for me to see this every single day.”

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has ruled out Pedro for Premier League start.

The Italian coach confirmed the Spanish striker is not fit to face Burnley in the first league clash at Stamford Bridge tomorrow:

Pedro is not available because he is suffering with an injury from the Arsenal game and he wasn’t able to recover, it’s a knock on his ankle,” said the Blues boss in a press conference to preview the match.

Chelsea will miss also Eden Hazard, Tiemoué Bakayoko ( both injured) and Victor Moses ( suspended).

Eden Hazard and new signing Tiemoue Bakayoko are still recovering from injuries

Pedro is a doubt: he could play with a protective face mask after suffering multiple fractures in a clash with Gunners keeper David Ospina in a friendly game in China in July.

Laurent Koscielny is available for for the match: he received a red card and a three-match ban for a ridiculous foul on Enner Valencia in Arsenal’s final League match against Everton, ruling him out of the FA Cup final, as well as the first two league matches of the new season (Leicester & Stoke City).
