Atletico Madrid left-back Filipe Luis has admitted he would welcome Diego Costa should the Chelsea striker move back to Spain this summer.

The 30-year-old told Marca“He has been the player who has given me the most advice in my career and I love him like a brother, he has always had this love for Atletico. He has always followed us and has visited his friends and I have no doubt that he would be very happy here.”

“He has been the best No. 9 in the world and his return here depends upon the club. I always want him on my team, so I hope that I can play once again with him.”

Chelsea have been linked with a move for Everton forward Romelu Lukaku, who is said to be desperate to return to his former club where he claims he has unfinished business, according to the LondonEvening Standard.

The Belgian international is reportedly ready to hand in a transfer request to force the move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Anyway Chelsea are reportedly keen on offering Everton a cash-plus-player final bid to sign the 23-year-old and seem set to propose Loic Remy plus around £60m.

Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, speaking about John Terry‘s contract extension with the Blues, told Goal.com: “We were buzzing when we found out he signed again, he has been here for so long, he is such a good leader.”

“I think if we had lost John, we would have a lot less leadership in the dressing room. So we are buzzing to have him here still.”

“He brings experience with what he has done and he is such a nice person as well. He brings everyone together, everyone has respect for him.”

The 20-year-old added: “They listen to him, he is the captain of Chelsea, we respect him for that and he is such a nice person. He will help you and try and sort things out. He is just a top man really.”

Senegalese international centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly is close to signing a new deal to stay at Napoli despite Chelsea and Everton have been heavily linked with a move for the 25-year-old.

Chelsea defender Baba Rahman has today joined Schalke on a season-long loan.

Rahman will move back to the Bundesliga this season after joining Chelsea from Augsburg 12 months ago. The Ghanaian international will reunite with former Augsburg manager, Markus Weinzierl, who took charge of Schalke earlier this summer.

The youngster made 23 appearances for the Blues last season but new manager Antonio Conte believes he needs more experience before playing consistently in the Chelsea first-team.

Queens Park Rangers and Fulham are both keeping tabs on Chelsea youngster Patrick Bamford, according to Getwestlondon.com.

The 22-year-old was left out of Chelsea squad for the pre-season tour in USA and is said to be keen on moving away on loan this summer after enjoying successful spells at MK DonsDerby and Middlesbrough.

Bamford has been heavily linked also with a move to Celtic, Wolves and Aston Villa despite he failed to break into both Crystal Palace and Norwich City‘s starting line ups last season.

Chelsea star Willian had been repeatedly linked with a shocking move to Manchester United after Josè Mourinho became the Red Devils’ manager, anyway the Brazilian star has admitted he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge despite the rumors.

Willian told Goal.com: “I have a great relationship with Josè, but I am Chelsea. Of course, when someone like him is interested in you then you are happy,” 

“But I signed the contract because I like being a Chelsea player and I see good things here. I signed a new contract and that shows how much I want to stay here.”

“But the simple thing is that I want to win titles. To win titles you have to improve and if we can do that then we have a great chance to win titles this season.”

“We have the players to do this – and the manager.”

Chelsea youngster Fikayo Tomori has just put the pen to paper on a new four-year contract with the Blues.

The 18-year-old is currently training with the squad in the United States and made his debut with the first team in the final game last season after scoring in the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League‘s finals last season

He told the club’s official website: “It’s good for me, a confidence booster knowing I did well last year and being rewarded with a new contract. Now I’ve got to improve and show my worth,”

“It’s been good to spend the pre-season with the first team, to learn from the older players and know what it’s like to be on a tour and see how they are preparing for the season.”

Chelsea star Eden Hazard spoke after scoring a brace against Real Madrid and revealed he wants to improve his shape to be ready for the first Premier League game.

“I scored two goals so I was happy with that and it was good to be back on the field, – he told Chelsea’s official website  it was good but not good enough to win the game. It’s pre-season though and we hope to be ready for the first Premier League game against West Ham”.

“I hope I can start the game against AC Milan on Wednesday but my objective is the first game against West Ham so I have to go step by step, I don’t want to go out like a crazy man and play 90 minutes but then get injured again.”

The 25-year-old added: “The stadium was full, it’s always very exciting to play in a stadium with a lot of people and it was an incredible atmosphere,”

“We play football for this, for the fans, we want to show the fans how good we are and without them we are nothing. They deserve a lot of respect for all the support they give”.

“So far America has been fantastic. We didn’t get to enjoy Michigan the same as LA because we had only one night, but LA was very good and I hope one day I’ll be able to come back here to Michigan”.
