During the last summer transfer window, Belgian star Eden Hazard seemed close to a move to the Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Then the Blues striker spoke with the new Chelsea’s manager Maurizio Sarri and now Hazard himself reveals how the Italian convinced him to stay at Stamford Bridge: “He just told me that he wanted me to be one of the best players in the world. That’s it. And he tried to give me this confidence… and he asked me to score goals”. Hazard told The Premier League Show. “When I speak with him he always says, “You can score three goals every game”. But you know sometimes he is hard, but I try to do my best.”

The Belgian then also praised Maurizio Sarri: “We knew that Sarri was a fantastic manager. He showed to England now that he’s maybe one of the best in the world”. he added. “So at the moment like I say we are playing good, we are scoring goals, creating chances. So it’s good to be here.”

Speaking to ESPN BrazilChelsea midfielder Jorginho revealed once again why during last summer transfer window he chose the Blues rather than Manchester City.

Maurizio Sarri‘s appointment on the Blues’ bench played, obviously a crucial role as the Italian manager trained Jorginho also at SS Napoli.

There are a lot of things behind a negotiation process”. Jorginho said. “I believe Sarri’s arrival played a big part on it. And there’s also the greatness of Chelsea, such a big club. So these factors helped me making my mind”.

The Italian midfielder also admitted his relationship with Sarri is very good:  “Yes, it’s pretty good. He’s always bantering, joking with me”. Jorginho added.

Eden is one of them,” Fabregas told reporters. “He’s a player that we all love to play with, especially me. For us, he’s our most important player. As we wrote yesterday, Nice manager Patrick Vieira gave midfielder Jean-Michael Seri permission to reach London.

It seemed Seri was very close to a move to Chelsea, but today it emerged the French club have agreed a fee not with the Blues, but with Fulham who will pay £18m.

The player has already applied for a work visa, but he has yet to agree a deal with Fulham, so Chelsea can still hope to make a better offer to convince Seri.

Chelsea and Coventry have reached a deal for the Blues’ youngster Dujon Sterling.

The talented right-back, who can also play as centre midfielder and winger, will join the League One side on a season-long loan.

I’m very pleased to have signed Dujon on loan until the end of the 2018/19 season”. Mark Robins, Coventry manager said. “We would like to thank Chelsea for loaning Dujon to us, for what is his first loan spell from the club. He worked with Adi Viveash at Chelsea, so we’re very aware of what he will bring to us. Dujon is someone with great pedigree and a lot of potential, as shown by his international recognition, who will add another dimension to our play. Though primarily a defender, he can play anywhere down the right-hand side of the pitch and makes use of his skill and pace. We look forward to seeing him develop during his time with us and contributing to our season.”

According to various reports both in Italy and in England, Ac Milan are preparing a swap deal with Chelsea: the Italian side will offer the Blues goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, as the London club this summer could lose Thibaut Courtois.

On the other hand, Ac Milan will sign striker Alvaro Morata who is keen to go back to Italy and play again in the Serie A after his two seasons with Juventus.

Obviously talks between the two clubs will begin only if Ac Milan won’t be excluded from the next Europa League.
