Chelsea captain John Terry revealed that Conference Premier side Lincoln City feat, that knocked Premier League’s Burnley out of FA Cup today, was a wake-up call for the Blues that were about to face Wolves in the moment Sean Ragget scored the winner at Turf Moor:
“It was kind of a wake-up call that we didn’t need,” Terry said after the win at the Molineux.
About the chance to win the FA Cup again, the Blues skipper claimed:
“It’s a massive part of the club’s history. I’ve won it five times. The main thing today was to come here, play well and get ourselves into the next round.”
