Cech 7.5- Governed his penalty area throughout and made two brilliant saves which probably saved the game for Chelsea.

Azpilicueta 7.5- Very consistent, kept Lennon on Everton’s wing quiet from start to finish.

Terry 7- Another authoritative performance with the exception of the two chances Everton had.

Zouma 7- Yet more evidence why he is Chelsea’s long-term first choice-back. Often got the better of Everton’s front line.

Ivanovic 7- Often got forward in support of the attack.

Ramires 7- Was bright early on, and in the second-half but couldn’t find the space to make more of an impact later on.

Matic 7.5- Gave the defence cover and kept control of the ball when Chelsea needed it.

Cuadrado 7- Active and perhaps eager to impress during his Stamford Bridge debut and demonstrated considerable skill and speed when he had the space to do so. Was perhaps pushed off the ball too easily t times.

Willian 7.5- Scored the winning goal and was a threat from the wing.

Hazard 7.5- Showed his usual skill in the first few minutes and was a threat throughout.

Remy 6.5- Struggled to make an impact consistently but did hold the ball up well in the middle and down the wing.


Drogba 6.5- Was another threat when brought on but not much.

Fanregas 7.5- Provided creativity when on the pitch.

Cahill N/A- Brought on in stoppage time and barely touched the ball.


Jose Mourinho 7- Prepared the team well and was willing to make a doube substitution when it was needed.
