Begovic 6- Made a few very good saves. Not much he could have done about the penalties.

Zouma 6- Generally quite solid.

Terry 6- A better performance than recent weeks.

Cahill 6- Same as above.

Baba 6.5- A good performance generally in attack and defence.

Ramires 5- Missed a sitter in the first half. The team improved once he left.

Mikel 6- An improvement on Matic’s awful performances of late.

Willian 6.5- Played with his usual energy but lacked a cutting edge.

Oscar 7- Refreshing to have some attacking energy from the midfield. Should start against Liverpool for sure.

Hazard 6- Better than previous performances but still a long way from his best. Missed the decisive penalty.

Costa 5- Looked bright to begin with but was take off after sustaining injury.

Kenedy 7- Superb. Fast, decisive and accurate. Deserves his Premiership start before long.

Traore 6- Provided fresh legs and looked good brought on.

Remy 6- Scored a good goal but his positioning off the ball continues to let him down.

Jose Mourinho 6- There will be more pressure after this defeat but the team is improving. The key players are finding their form of last year and he was not afraid to make changes when needed. He should start Oscar on Saturday and begin to bring the younger players into the first team.
