Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez which should not surprise anyone is satisfied with today’s 2-1 win over Chelsea but warns his team not to overdo it with optimism, because there are still many matches left to play, and the situation in the table can still change significantly.
Mahrez told Sky Sports:
“I don’t know if no-one can stop me but I need to do my best for the team,”
“The most important thing is the performance of the team, we did a great game and deserved the win.”
“I have a lot of confidence, when you keep scoring and making assists it’s normal to have confidence.”
Asked if he thinks, that the Foxes have already a safe place in the Premier League table, he answered:
“We are not definitely safe, we need 40 or 42 points for that.”
