The reportedly incoming Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri wants £179m to be made available to revamp his squad next summer, Italian reports claim.
The former Napoli head coach was replaced by ex Blues manager Carlo Ancelotti at the end of the 2017-18 season following another failed Scudetto bid, with rivals Juventus eventually pipping the Naples club to the title.
Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that he is keen to bring three players with him to London from the Azzurri: central defender Kalidou Koulibaly, full-back Elseid Hysaj and midfielder Piotr Zielinski.
Sarri is expected to be named as the new Blues boss soon, though the report claims he is waiting for Roman Abramovich’s approval.
Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain is also a target, and there is a possibility that Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata could be used in the deal for a swap.
