Tiemoue Bakayoko struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge last season after joining the Blues from AS Monaco on a £35m move in July.
The Frenchman, who wished Antonio Conte “the best for future projects” following his recent sacking from the managerial role at Chelsea, also spoke to the club’s official website about the upcoming World Cup final and his recovery from knee injury.
Bakayoko said: “During the summer I worked a lot because last season I didn’t have a pre-season, and I feel good for preparing for this season”.
“I don’t have pain in my knee, I am feeling very fit, and I hope to keep going like this and do a better season than the last one”.
He added: “I am happy to be here, to be in the best club for me in the world.”
Sevilla have reportedly targeted Tiemoue Bakayoko as a potential replacement if Steven N’Zonzi joins Barcelona on a permanent move.
