Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri, who left the pitch without even saying goodbye to Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola following the 6-0 defeat at Etihad Stadium, was asked to comment his team performance.
He told SkySports: “At the moment, I am not able to explain [the defeat]. During the week my feeling was very good. I am not able to understand.”
Will there be scrutiny on your position? “I think that is right. I am in charge of the team so, it’s right.”
On whether there will be talks with the club about his future – “I don’t know. Not at the moment. But I think that will happen, it’s normal. It’s something that we need to do. I don’t know, you have to ask the club. I have no idea.”
