Ross Barkley was brilliant in Chelsea‘s first pre-season friendly against Perth Glory today despite failing to find the net with big efforts during.
The 24-year-old, speaking after the game at Optus Stadium, said: “Last season has been another difficult season for me with the injury, but now I’m feeling strong and I’m ready.
I am looking forward to the season ahead. You have got to take one step at the time. We are going to take every game as it comes and hopefully each game we’ll feel better and then we’ll be ready for the season”.
Then Barkley added: “I got 75 minutes today, I haven’t played that much for a while. I am confident I will get sharp and I will get more training session and games”.
