Chelsea star Tiemoue Bakayoko told SFR Sport he won’t be scared to face competition in midfield if the Blues complete moves for both Danny Drinkwater and Ross Barkley in the next few hours.
“Danny Drinkwater doesn’t scare me, – Bakayoko said – It’s the competition. It’s good, I think every team needs that. It makes you improve.”
It is understood Antonio Conte wants at least three signings to strengthen his squad before the Deadline Day, with also Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain reportedly on the verge of joining Chelsea.
Metro.com reported today that the Blues would spend a fee in the region of £105m for these Premier League stars.
