Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante limped off after 34th minute in the last 1-0 victory of France against Bulgaria last night, as the 25-year-old suffered a muscular injury.
And manager Didier Deschamps has confirmed Kante won’t feature in the next clash against Belarus: “It’s a muscular problem behind the thigh, – he said after the match – He will not be there Tuesday.”
“Kante and Rabiot pretty much swapped. You need balance. Kante has a very important role. Rabiot can play that role, but the output of N’Golo may have destabilised the team – though that doesn’t take anything away from Adrien.”
Antonio Conte faces a major injury blow considering N’Golo Kante’s massive impact with the Blues, anyway Danny Drinkwater is reportedly set to make his Chelsea debut and could replace his former teammate at Leicester City.
