Chelsea duo complete two-goal comeback for France against Iceland

Olivier Giroud played the whole game, Kurt Zouma came off the bench in the second half (replacing Real Madrid centre-back Varane, injured) while N’Golo Kante was an unused sub for France in their 2-2¬†draw against Iceland in Guingamp last night.

The Chelsea defender, who’s currently enjoying a loan spell at Everton, went close to complete the two-goal turnaround with a header in the extra-time, when a penalty was awarded for a handball and was eventually converted by PSG star Kylian Mbappe. Moreover, Zouma earned his third international cap, the first since 2015.

The Chelsea striker was booked later in the second half, while Kante remained an unused sub with both Paul Pogba and AS Roma’s Steven N’Zonzi featuring in midfield.
