Chelsea grab a last second win in Madrid with a goal by Michy Batshuayi in the Champions League clash against Atletico.
The Colchoneros took the lead in the end of the first half thanks to a penalty transformed by Antoine Griezmann but, after risking to concede the second goal a couple of times, were able to equalise with Alvaro Morata, who scored with a header after a perfect cross by Eden Hazard at 60′.
Cesc Fabregas failed the chance of the 2-1 after two minutes and Atletico pushed to find the winner but it was found by Chelsea instead, with Michy Batshuayi netting the ball on an assist by Marcos Alonso on a great play after a free-kick. The referee blew the final whistle right after the goal, since it was scored in the last second of the injury time.
Chelsea are now leading Group C table with 6 points, Roma follow in second place with 4, while Atletico sit third with 1 point and Qarabag are bottom place with 0 points, after losing to Roma for 2-1 this afternoon.
