Chelsea have completed the signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao, the club have confirmed via their official website today.
The Blues have triggered the £71.6 buy-out clause for the 23-year-old goalkeeper, whose signing becomes the most expensive in Chelsea’s history so far.
Maurizio Sarri, when asked to give his thoughts on Kepa Arrizabalaga, told journalists at a press conference: “I saw him one year ago for Naples. My first impressions was that he is a very good goalkeeper, very young, but very, very good”.
Keep told Chelsea’s official website: “It’s a very important decision for me, for my career, and also for my personal life.
“So many things attracted me to the club, all the titles the club has won, the other players, the city, the English Premier League. It’s an accumulation of things, and I am very glad Chelsea has decided to trust me and to take me in as well”.
