Speaking with French radio station RTL, Chelsea‘s striker Olivier Giroud admitted he is not happy about how things are going for him at Stamford Bridge.
Giroud started just one of the Blues’ last 16 Premier League games: “Of course it is frustrating. Today, I feel like there is no competition since January”. Giroud said. “It is like that, I know that I will only play in the Europa League and I will try to do everything I can to be as effective and decisive as possible for the team.”
Then, at the end of the season, Chelsea’s striker can decide to leave both the club and England: “The future could be hectic this summer,” Giroud went on. “I am not scared of going down a level to have more playing time. It could be that I end my career in France.”
