Real Madrid are set to place massive bid to land both Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois to Santiago Bernabeu, according to several reports from England, Italy and Spain.
The Belgian duo, who’s currently on vacation following their 3rd place at the World Cup in Russia, are reportedly keen on a move to La Liga giants.
Courtois recently said: “Wherever I go, Hazard must come along. We will not let each other go. We’ll see. Now first vacation. And agree with my entourage in between. Now I’m going to talk to my manager to see what the possibilities are.
“All options are open to me. Also stay at Chelsea, yes. People always complain that players do not comply with their contracts, but maybe I will.
“I do not think they will keep someone with my qualities on the bench, even if I do not sign. But maybe that’s possible because I like being in London.”
Moreover, Gianluca Spinelli has joined Paris Saint-Germain and this means the Belgian star will have former Napoli’s Massimo Nenci as goalkeeper coach if he remains at Stamford Bridge.
Also Hazard gave an important update on his potential exit from the club as he told Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur: “After six wonderful years at Chelsea it might be time to discover something different.
“Certainly after this World Cup. I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision – if they want to let me go. You know my preferred destination.”
“We all know that I have always felt good at Chelsea, so…. I have been linked with all the big clubs in the past. Barcelona? Next week it will be Bayern. No I’m joking. You all know what my preferred destination is”.
