Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri believes latest signing Mateo Kovacic could make an impact at Stamford Bridge while Kepa Arrizabalaga, who made his Premier League debut today, “is young and very talented goalkeeper”. The Italian manager also hailed “very good player” Jorginho. The Brazilian born midfielder converted into a goal the penalty which ensured a 0-2 advantage for the Blues at halftime.
About Chelsea signings in the summer transfer window, Sarri told Sky Sports in Italy: “I have to say that the board has been really willing, helpful. We have lost a great goalkeeper, but was fair not to keep him here against his will. We lost him [Thibaut Courtois] on his own free will and we brought in a very young and great player like Kepa.
Then [Mateo] Kovacic could blow-up [enlarge his potential conclusively], Jorginho is here as well. Chelsea squad was good already”.
