Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi revealed that last summer he was convinced to stay at Stamford Bridge side by his compatriot Eden Hazard:
“It was friendly advice. When he said that, he thought a third striker was going to come, but in the end, there’s only two of us for one place,” the 24-year-old is quoted by Dhnet.be.
“I want to succeed at this club and my relationship with Alvaro [Morata] is very healthy.
“I don’t want to leave during the next transfer window, because we’re going to play a lot of games and I will certainly get an opportunity.”
The Belgian striker scored 5 goals in this season so far: 2 in Champions League ( one against Qarabag and the winner against Atletico Madrid last week) and 3 in League Cup ( a hat-trick against Nottingham Forest).
