Petr Cech is to meet with Chelsea officials at some point to discuss what is becoming an ever more likely move away from Stamford Bridge.
Cech, who joined Chelsea from Rennes in 2004, was Chelsea’s first choice goalkeeper for ten years before the return of Belgain Thibaus Courtois from a three-year loan at Atletico Madrid. Rumours have been abound ever since that the Czech wants a move in order to restart what has been a success-laden career, and speculation has consistently linked him to Chelsea’s London rivals Arsenal.
Chelsea, it is believed, are hoping to persuade Cech to either stay or move abroad, most likely French champions PSG, but it appears that he wishes to remain in England, in particular London. The Premiership champions have reportedly put a £10 million price tag on the 33-year old.
