Antonio Conte’s men played Liecester at home in an early kick off in the Premier League at the bridge.
The blues headed into the game at the back of an impressive 2-0 win at Hull before the international break, with Conte hoping for his side continue their good form at home to the champions.
And they didn’t disappoint as the Blues took the lead in the 7th minute as Costa scored from a loose ball in the box resulting from Eden Hazard’s corner,Hazard then doubled the lead in the 33rd minute in a first half which saw Chelsea blow Leicester away in their best display this season.
The second half started differently for the Blues,as Liecester came out trying to get back at the game, but they were frustrated by a resilient Chelsea side as they toiled in a game that was against them right from the start, the introduction of Mahrez and Silmani didn’t do much to trouble the Chelsea defense, although they were a few nervy moments with David Luiz almost scoring an own goal.
But Antonio Conte’s men finally found their stride again with a string of counter attacks and Kante going agonizingly close to scoring against his former side, but the game was sealed in the 80th minute as Moses scored after an impressive combination with Chalobah.
There was also enough time for Antonio Conte to introduce youngsters,Ruben Loftus-cheek,Ola Aina as well as Chalobah as the Blues rounded off an impressive display with 3-0 win over the champions.
