Chelsea and West Brom fined by FA

Chelsea and West Brom have both been fined by the FA after their feisty 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge earlier in January.

The Blues were fined £65,000, and the Baggies £35,000, for failing to “ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.”

Tony Pulis’ side twice came from behind to steal a point in the game, with Chelsea striekr Diego Costa again the limelight for the wrong reasons after several confrontations with West Brom players, including midfielder Cluadio Yacob and goalkeeper Boaz Myhill.

Yacob, who had already been booked, was swiftly substituted after the flare up between himself and Costa, with Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink branding referee Anthony Taylor “one of the worst” that he had experienced in the Premier League for not dismissing him.
