Chelsea players returned to work at Cobham yesterday as they are ready to defend the Premier League title in the upcoming season.
Antonio Rudiger is set to join the squad in the next hours, while Diego Costa was given an extra few days off ahead of a move to Atletico Madrid.
The squad also included several players which came back from loan spells: Jake Clarke-Salter, Musonda, Andreas Christensen, Lucas Piazon, Jeremie Boga and Kenneth Omeruo were all in Antonio Conte‘s squad.
Loftus-Cheek, who was involved in training yesterday, will reportedly undergo a medical with Crystal Palace as he will join the Eagles on a season-long loan.
Antonio Conte himself led the group during the whole training session, joining also his players on a run.
Willy Caballero, who’ll wear the n°1 shirt, had his first training session with Chelsea under goalkeeping coach Gianluca Spinelli.
