Chelsea captain John Terry has confirmed he wants to lift the FA Cup title for the sixth time since 199/2000 campaign.

“It’s important that we keep the momentum going into the FA Cup. – Terry claimed – It will only be incredible if we go on and win it. We haven’t come this far to get to the final and lose.

“If I could have written the story of my life and how it would pan out, this is the way it would have been.

“I’m going out with the club crowned champions and in great hands with the manager, plus the players we have here as well. We want to win our last League game. No matter who plays, the hunger is there in the group to do that.

Then the Blues’ captain added: “It’s going to be a really sad and emotional day on Sunday. I have been here 22 years but I am delighted with the experiences and opportunities I have had.”
