Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic could be set to leave the club in the summer, after growing frustrated at the lack of playing time in recent months.
The Bosnian has been limited to just one appearance since the arrival of Guus Hiddink as interim boss – the 2-0 win over Scunthorpe United in the FA Cup third round – and reportedly wants a move away to secure more first team football.
Begovic, who moved from Premier League rivals Stoke City for £8 million last summer, enjoyed a continued stint between the sticks for the Blues when first choice keeper Thibaut Courtois was out injured, but since the Belgian’s return Begovic has been unable to get off the substitute bench.
Although it is unclear if a move away would be a loan or permanent deal, any move away may cause more havoc for Chelsea, with several big names linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge.
No club has outlined interest for Begovic, although he was touted with a loan move away in the recent January transfer window.
