Chelsea are set to take legal action against striker Diego Costa after his refusal to head back to England to start training with the club this summer.
The Blues gave the Spanish international an extended break after boss Antonio Conte told him that he was not part of his plans this season.
But the Brazilian-born striker has no intention to go back to London, as he claimed in a statement released by GloboEsporte this morning.
The Spanish striker wants to return to Atletico Madrid but he is still under contract with Chelsea, who Costa expects to set him free.
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea bosses cannot stand this situation anymore and having already fined the player £300,000 for his absence, they may now decide to put the matter into the hands of their legal team.
