Mohamed Salah joined Liverpool from AS Roma on a £35m move on Thursday, which means that Chelsea will receive £2.3m.

The Blues inserted a sell-on clause when the Egyptian winger left Stamford Bridge heading to Serie A in 2015.

Salah made 11 appearances during his first season with Chelsea, before being loaned to Fiorentina and then sold to AS Roma on a permanent move in June 2015.
