Michy Batshuatyi was Chelsea man of the match in yesterday’s win against Watford: the Belgian entered the pitch for Alvato Morata when the team were losing 2-1 and immediately made an impact on the game, finding the equaliser some minutes later with a perfect header.
After Cesar Azpilicueta scored the winner with two minutes to go, the Belgian striker found the goal that sealed the game during injury time.
In the post match press conference Blues boss Antonio Conte wanted to praise him for his precious contribution in this important win:
“Don’t forget Michy is a young player. For him this is the first big experience with a great team.
“Today the impact was incredible and important, it must continue in this way: work, work, work.
“To have the passion to improve and understand he has to wait for his moment and then when he has the chance to show he has improved.”
