Antonio Conte is the most serious candidate to become the next Chelsea permanent manager.
The Italian coach is understood to have met the Blues directors several times in the past month and is scheduled to meet the boss, Roman Abramovich, during the next week.
Conte will sign a three-years-contract and he is in talks with the club also to define his backroom staff.
Chelsea told him he can bring four full-time assistants, and the Italian manager would like to bring his long-time assistants Angelo Alessio and Massimo Carrera along with Mauro Sandreani and Gianluca Conte- his brother- as scouts.
Steve Holland is understood to stay in the technical staff regardless of who will be appointed as Chelsea next manager.
