Chelsea’s number one is prepared for a tough ride as the league leaders host Stoke.
Chelsea won the reverse fixture 2-0 in December but the Belgium believes the visitors will have learnt from that game.
Courtois is prepared to deal with Stoke’s direct approach but that’s easier said than done.
He said: “We handled it very well, so I’m sure they will play the same and I hope I can come for the crosses as I did there.
“Of course now they know also in that moment I came for the crosses so they will maybe put one or two guys on me.
“Maybe it will be harder.”
Courtois highlighted Peter Crouch as Stoke’s main threat and the main who could cause the Blues problems.
He added: “I have to try to help the team on that aspect because with the tall Peter Crouch it’s not easy for the defenders to win headers against him, so I have to help the defence.
“I hope I can do that.
“You know he is dangerous on crosses and corners so you have to approach it a little bit differently.
“Maybe I will have to come for more crosses to shut down the danger and help the defenders in front of me.”
