Diego Costa contributed to Chelsea’s victory over Hull City last week end by scoring the second goal for the Blues. However things didn’t go smoothly for him as he complained about muscular pain.
It is believed to be a harmstring’s injury and the national team doctors will assess the striker but he is unlikely to play for Spain, but will instead return for a match against Stoke.
Diego underwent scans on the hamstring at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground on Monday before he travelled to Spain having been requested to do so by the Spanish football federation. Costa would be back to London tonight should the team decide not to take any risk..
