Cesc Fabregas thinks Chelsea still have time to turn the season around despite their worst start in a generation, and points to his former club’s success last term as inspiration.
Barcelona, under the stewardship of Luis Enrique, made an unassuming start to the season but won the treble of league, cup and Champions League- defeating Juventus 3-1 in a dramatic final in Berlin.
Speaking to Goal, the Spain international said this:
“We will have to see but the best example is Barcelona last season. They didn’t look good until January, but from then they reached a spectacular level and they finished the season in the ascendant.
Fabregas had a brilliant season last time but has failed to reach the heights so far this campaign.
