Turkish giants Fenerbahce hope to sign John Terry on a free transfer next summer, the Daily Mail claim.
The Chelsea captain has only one year left on his contract with the Blues and can start negotiations with other clubs from January.
Chelsea club policy states that players over 30 can only be offered one-year contract extensions – Terry is 34.
It is said, that Fenerbahce will offer Terry around £2.5million a season, along with a large signing-on bonus.
The speculation about Terry’s future at Chelsea began after the Mourinho decided to substitute Terry at half-time against Manchester City on Sunday, the first time the Portuguese has ever done so.
Terry claimed some time ago, that if he were to change club, he definitely would not join any other Premier League team.
“If I felt Chelsea were going to release me or thought I had nothing else to give but I thought I could then of course I would still want to continue to play.
“But that would not be in the Premier League – for sure.”
Fenerbahce have already signed former Manchester United duo Robin van Persie and Nani this summer.
